I read this book when it first came out. I do not remember that it had anything to do with engineering. I knew Dr. Spain from my days at Baylor U. He was a wonderful historian and this work is clearly in that tradition. It would be instructive for Southern Baptist of the last twenty years to read this book and learn what Southern Baptist tradition is all about.
