Every one who wants to take the stockbroker exam (Series 7)should have this manual in their possession. A very thorough guide (reccommended for people who are going to be in the business, and are taking Series 7 classes). This guide is more than what you need for the Series 7. If you want to know about the business, or want a study guide that explains everything crystal clear (step-by-step), you may want to go with Barrons

If you need more than a layman's background in the market, but don't need an MBA, get this book. It is a good reference to have for anybody who has money invested in mutual funds, bonds, stocks and the such. A book like this should sit on just about anyone's book shelf, along with the dictionary and thesaurus. As for a test book, I haven't taken the test, so I can't really tell you if it is any good for that

At beautiful and nice book with words from the Bible. It is easy to read and understand. But mainly it gives you a glimpse of God.

I first heard Hans Holzer interviewed on Whitley Streiber's radio show "Dreamland" on the subject of life after death. Holzer chose Philip Solomon as the medium to contact the dead as he is one of the most accurate mediums in the world. Holzer states that this book is the first time a methodical question-and-answer approach about life on the Other Side has been attempted, especially by a parapsychologist and a medium. What a great comfort this books was for me after losing a loved one 8 months ago.It was informative, full of interviews with famous people, such as Princess Diana, Elvis, and the not-so-famous giving us a glimpse of what does on in the Other Side, the type of reality that is experienced there, and that life continues on after death.

This is a brilliant book. What is the person, under the title Misrepresented, who calls him/herself A Reader From The USA on about and, indeed, which planet is he or she on? This is clearly a person with little knowledge of either parapsychology or, more important in the context of this book, mediumship. I have seen Philip Solomon demonstrate as a medium and he is undoubtedly one of the very best trance mediums in the world. It would make no difference to him if the communication was from Elvis Presley or an everyday ordinary person. He would simply pass on the information he had been given, practically and clearly, which it seems to me he has done in this book. The reviewer also claims to have read most of the other books of Hans Holzer, as he titles him. Surely, therefore, the reviewer must realise PROFESSOR Hans Holzer has not only had a career as an illustrious ghost hunter - as the reader from the USA calls him, but is recognised as a highly respected veteran parapsychologist and I can assure him/her the professor has worked with and tested many of the world's leading mediums over many years. Surely he would be best to judge, which he does, with his firm acknowledgement in the book, whether Philip Solomon's contacts are genuine. However, let me assure you I am a very experienced medium and spiritualist myself and I also assure you that almost anyone with a basic understanding of psychic matters would clearly see that the description of the contacts made, confirmed and supported by Professor Holzer, are genuine and worthwhile studies for the reader. I, for one, would wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one or who wishes to read and know more about the afterlife of celebrities and everyday ordinary people just like ourselves. Don't be as silly as reviewer 'A Reader From USA' - get a copy of this book, the first real work by a genuine medium and parapsychologist as a team, and the book itself is excellent.

THIS BOOK GIVES YOU A RARE GIFT OF SEEING WHAT IT IS LIKE AFTER WE CROSS OVER. THIS BOOK IS BASED ON INTERVIEWS WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE CROSSED OVER AND GIVES YOU A CLEAR PICTURE OF WHAT ITS LIKE IN THE SPIRITUAL REALM. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER WE CROSS OVER AND WHAT WE WILL SEE AND EXPERIENCE. IT IS TRULY AN EXCEPTIONAL BOOK. I PERSONALLY HAVE BOUGHT SIX COPIES AND GIVE THEM OUT TO FRIENDS AS GIFTS. THERE ARE ALSO SOME INTERVIEWS WITH CELEBRITIES THAT HAVE CROSSED OVER LIKE; ELVIS, MONROE, JUDY GARLAND, DIETRICH PRINCESS DI AND EVEN AL CAPONE AND HITLER. You get what you pay for here. I was using it and a friend of mine told me that you pretty much have to spend around $200 for a real home study course. He used the American Investment Training course that was supplied by his firm but you can get it directly. I saw it and it was huge and put together really well and it came with 5 books. They had Computer programs for it too. .... It was much better from what I saw and his firm has been using them for years. Good luck

This book will give you a basic understanding of the type of material you will need to know in order to pass the series 7. However, the keyword is basic. It is in no way in depth enough. Do yourself a favor and get the real thing. I have used two other study programs and they are MUCH, MUCH better(American Investment Training and Securities Training Inc). They do cost a pretty penny (about $200) but are well worth it. As far as the CD is concerned, don't waste your time with it. Many of the answers are wrong and it does not provide explanations.

I purchased this book with the intent of studying it in preparation of taking my Series 7 license exam. With my degree in Finance and reading through the book once and taking the practice exams, I am averaging about 50% pass rate, 70% is passing on the actual exam. I am continuing to study this book until I get hired by a firm that will sponser me to take the exam, this book keeps it fresh in my mind. The practice questions are good, I think a few are incorrect, since I go back and check my answers afterwords. This a a good basic book, I would recommend it to anyone in the same situation that I am in.
