Memo: To Myself When I Think I Have Outgrown Something
I remember reading this when I was in Jr High School...12 yrs ago. I LOVED this book! I read it over and over again. It's about a young girl growing up and her adventures along the way. The one thing that I remember most about this book is how you could pull it out at any time and just smile as you read it. Now that I am an adult, and have long ago donated my copy, I am now looking for another copy of it. If you have something that makes you feel good, even though you think you may have outgrown it...Hold on to it! It more than likely will still make you smile years down the road!

Great - Humerous -
This book is a wonderful book for teenagers. It is about a young girl. It tells about her trouble and fun times. I really enjoyed this book, and I recommend for you to read it!

The True Way of Twins!
Although we don't have twin boys, we do have twin daughters, and it seems that this book focuses in on the "ups and downs" of this life, with the adage that there's always one of the twins who is doing the opposite of the other.

This a humorous look at twins from the birth to the toddler stage, with the added feature of the older sister, who seems to be saying "one's up and one's down." It's a little repetitive, but if you're reading this to children, they'll love the repetition. Our twins do....so, pull up a chair and prepare to get your funny bone tickled. Even if you don't have twins, this is a pleasant excursion into childhood.

Just what does being "the big sister" mean?
I bought this book for my daughter, who is the big sister to identical twin boys. I was very pleased with the content, as it definitely pinpointed just how busy life with newborn twins is. Through the eyes of Katie, the big sister in the story, my daughter could relate with the experiences and the task of being the "big sister" during the first year of life to twin babies. It is an overwhelming job, sometimes one that is not quite welcome for an older sibling who still feels "little." My daughter shared this book with her classmates, because she felt so connected with the story. The end delighted her, as I am sure it will others, because Katie did finally realize how special she was because she was "bigger."

Fiction which seems to come to life
This book is wonderful! I read it as a little girl...the author based this story (and others in the series) on the life of my grandmother's brother and their family in Brooklyn NY. The story gives a great depiction of Jewish NY in the early 1900's with warmth and sincerity and much insight...I loved this book!

a great book for kids who can relate to having problems
Wendy has a perfect life until it gets turned upside down. This happens when her brother, and his family , and other relatives move in. Wendy becomes involved with a boy after being assigned a school project. It started out as a friendship and then they became more than just friends. She never thought such a thing would happen. I think that this is a great book. Anyone who likes to read about other people's lives should read this book. This is a book for mature readers. I suggest ages 11-14
