Challenging and affirming
Tozer was a man out of time. This devotional, a culling of his writings, is profound in its prophetic vision, providing a far more serious challenge to the life of committed believers than most of the pap that passes for devotionals today.

More than anything, the profound depth of Tozer's wisdom and his love for the people of God come sparkling through. If the purpose of a devotional is to get one thinking and meditating on the Bible, Renewed Day by Day more than accomplishes this task.

A must have for those looking to grow in grace and knowledge of Christ.

Renewed Day by Day
This book rivals Oswald Chambers "My Utmost for His Hightest" in clarity and depth of spiritual thought. Tozer's full theological understanding and personal experience are represented in personal daily devotions. His concern is for the individual believer's walk, scriptural understanding and the mental and spiritual health of the church. Definitely worth having in a devotional library!

Lifestyle Worship
What a thought provoking book! Tozer seeks to inform the reader, or hearer in it's original delivery, that worship is more than a Sunday morning experience. There is more to worship than it's corporate function that most of us know it for. He has no qualms with laying it on the line with statements similar to this. If your not worshiping on Monday then you probably didn't have a genuine experience on Sunday.

This book was written based on Tozer's desire to write it. It's content is based on a series of sermons he delivered about worship, but was unable to write due to his death. Worship is about a lifestyle dedicated unto God! Reading this book will give you opportunity to evaluate your relationship in worshiping God.

A Call For Churches Everwhere
I have experienced diverse worship styles in churches, differing definitions of what that worship means, and confusion as to why worship is essential for the Christan life. In many churches today, there seems to be more of a concern for putting on a show, big productions, etc. than for drawing people into a deeper fellowship with God. For some, worship has become the central theme of their Christian experience, and for others, something that "those wacky Charismatics" experience. Tozer, with prophetic insight, reveals the problem with the church today in relation to its worship and this distressing fact: many in this age have never experienced the sweet fellowship with God that can only come through intiamte worship as the creature to the Creator. This book is highly recommended for all sincere Christians who desire to move past the outer courts of "showy" worship, and into the holy of holies where true worship can be experienced.

The love of GOD is awesome
A.W.Tozer's book on echoes from Eden is unique to say the least. He starts with explaining that GOD loves HIMSELF and the things that HE sees in man that HE loves is the things that most remind HIM of HIMSELF. He helps the CHRISTIAN to understand the need to appropriate this love. By the end of the book he helps you to understand to the long, narrow road back to Eden. He deals with the love of GOD, the effect of sin, man's responsibilty for his sin, the BLOOD of JESUS, the power of the HOLY SPIRIT, the working of scriptures and the general understanding of GOD. This book will no doubt be a classic. Tozer was a Prophet in his generation and for anyone desiring true insight into GOD, this book is for U!
