Translation of Gulzar poetry is always going to be a difficult task for any one. Gulzar saheb is very particular in selection of word in his poetry. Most of the words and Upmaas loose their meanings if translated eg. "Shaam ka pighla hua surkh sunhari rogan" or words like "Maazi, shafaq, Khuunas".
