Ready for giggles?
Are you ready for some fun? Do you love to see your kids laughing and wiggling? This book is for you.

Children of all ages will delight in joining in the fun. You'll sing, giggle and shake all those sillies out.

If you're having one of those days where the little ones just can't sit still, or they've been cranky and you need a good book- this is it.

Read, sing it, do it- what fun for the whole crew. This would be great for a day care, pre-school, or young group of children. They'll get creative and show you just how goofy they can be.

One Of Our Favorites
Our 18 month old first fell in love with Raffi's "Shake My Sillies Out" from a cassette tape of a Raffi concert. He would dance and smile, whether it was Raffi or Mommy singing the tune. Now we have the pleasure of reading the book together in "sing-song" style with the wonderful illustrations and repetition my little guy recognizes and enjoys. I am a teacher, as well as a mom, and fully back all of Raffi's song based books.

Great entertainment
This is a wonderful book for kids about getting the last-minute sillies out of them before they fall off to sleep. My daughter (4 months) is too young to understand it, but I love reading it as part of her bedtime routine and can't wait for her to understand it. (She does sit still and listen!) I also like how it is an illustrated version of one of Raffi's songs, so that when kids sing the song, they can know the words and relate to the pictures. I highly recommend this and other Raffi books and songs.

Excellent Courseware
I like this book because it presents the Novell NetWare 5.0 operating system in very clear, yet concise terms. Aside from a few inconsistencies it is very accurate. There are a few items that I found to be incorrect, but I have found a few errors in most technical texts.

As an instructor, I like the review questions and hands-on exercises at the back of each chapter. You must really think and review the reading material to answer the questions, because the answers are not in the appendix of this text. The exercises allow me to do more of what I need to do, teach rather than create drills. But I feel that they do require the guidance of an instructor to complete them. This may make the book more suited to a classroom environment than lending itself to self-study.

There are some parts that seem to gloss over the necessary detail, such as the "relative distinguished names" section. However, I believe that there is enough detail for those wishing to complete their CNA certification, which the goal of the book.

This is a very good NetWare 5.0 CNA review text, but should be used in a classroom with a competent instructor.

Devastation spreads so quickly, your heart stops
I read the books, Ebola and The Hot Zone and I thought they were outstanding. I saw the movie Outbreak and ever since then, I have been fascinated with the Ebola virus. The two above books are the only ones I was able to locate, but I saw the TV movie based on Robin Cook's Outbreak, along with reading the book. I just wanted to comment that I am soo caught up in this virus, I recommend any Ebola-related movies, books, etc. to anyone!! I think it is perfect because it is a thriller that is real and really exists. It really makes you stop and wonder

Beautifully Illustrated Book!
I am a third grade teacher and the study of Native Americans is part of our History/Social Studies curriculum. Every third grade teacher at my school has purchased this book with their own money to use when teaching this topic. It is beautifully illustrated and contains lots of colorful photographs. It contains interesting facts and information about different Native American tribes and their customs, from totem poles and tipis to wedding ceremonies and canoe-building. My students really enjoy reading it and looking at the pictures. I highly recommend it for those of you who have an interest in Native American culture, artwork and customs.

Never Mind Pants (Ozy and Millie)
Published in Paperback by Plan Nine Publishing (15 December, 2000)
Author: David Simpson
Amazon base price: $12.95
Average review score:

Cute, funny and occasionally meaningful.
Ozy and Millie has real strength in it's main characters. Contains several *very funny* storylines. For those who have read the comic online (and if not, why not? ;-), there's some additional material in the back, but don't expect mounds of new stuff - the primary advantage is the more convenient, portable format. The front and back covers are pretty as well.

A masterful achievement
"The Papers of Ulysses S. Grant" is a project begun in 1962 for the purpose of publishing all the known letters written by Ulysses S. Grant. Volume one was published in 1967 and there are now twenty-four volumes in the series. People who follow Grant's career are aware of the inestimable value of this project. The Papers contain all known correspondence written by Grant and letters received by him. The editing of the series is unparalleled and the volumes represent primary source material at its apex.

Those who believe Grant was a "drunkard" or a "butcher" should read his own words, which show Grant's humor, pathos and unique personality. Masterfully edited by John Y. Simon, these volumes are a "must have" for anyone with an interest in U.S. Grant as a general, a politician and as a man
