Entire books holds you and you end up wanting more.
This book holds your attention and you can't put it down until you are finished and looking for the sequel. Too bad it is out of print. Please reprint it. My copies have been handed down to so many and they are truly worn. Great writing for the female reader.

one of the best books I've ever read.
I've read this book many times. It's fantastic!!! The book is well worth the price . My question is..... Why wasn't it ever made into a movie?

This is a book you won't put down. Great story concept.
This is a book worthy of a movie concept. This romance novel is intertwined with a time warp concept that will keep you reading all night long.

Excellent Sequel to an Unfinished Story
So, guy meets girl, falls in love, she disappears, meets a new love, reunites with first love, forgets new guy, the end. That is where the first book, "Journey to Yesterday," left off. However, it doesn't really work that way, and anyone who has read the first book knew that the end was to come later. The sequel, "Return to Yesterday," closes the chapter, makes the happy ending come for the reader, finishes the story the way it is supposed to end. If you are into an excellent story (that personally I think should be made into a made for TV movie) with twists that make you think, and turns that make your heart ache for the characters, you NEED to read these books. Shiplett does an excellent job weaving fantasy with reality. You cannot put these books down. If you were left wanting more of Stacey and Ben and Drew and the well thought-out plot, the sequel will satisfy you. It takes Stacey back to her beloved Ben at a time when all hell has broken loose in her so-called "perfect" life. The reader wants, no needs, her to go back, it just isn't over. Stacey's journey strikes deep into your heart, whether or not you have been in her situation is irrelevant. I'm not talking about going back in time or anything, I'm talking about falling in love, then realizing maybe, just maybe there is someone else out there you should be with. But, how do you know if you should stay or go? Stacey didn't know, but she had fate and a little mystic power to help. We don't have that luxury, but if we did, wouldn't it be heavenly if our story mirrored this one??

A must read book from cover to cover that you cant put down
I read Journey To Yesterday first then the sequel Return To Yesterday, they were so great I couldn't put the books down. I have read hundreds of books over the years and I would say that these two books are by far the best two books I have ever read.

what has to be the best and the first of timetravel romance
A action packed non-stop time travel that leaves you wanting to travel to the past.

A must read for all time travel lovers old or youn

the most profound book I have read on multi-infarct dementia
As I watch my husband in the subtle and beginning stages of this agonizing disease and read June Shiplett's Glass Full Of Tears, I can only imagine my years of care-giving yet to come. Her log of her husband's vascular dementia is becoming my calendar as well. Most books are written about Alzheimer's and even though multi-infarct dementia is a kissing cousin of alzheimers, there is a behavioral difference. Shiplett is walking me through my days and I wish I could hug her for writing this book...... it seems it is written just for me.

a very touching and honest account shared with dignity & lov
It is hard to put in writing how the book effected me. It was very moving and helped to understand some of the emotions that we experience when care giving to a loved one. I appreciate Mrs. Shiplett sharing such a private and special part of her life. It is by far her richest Love Story she has written.

Another Winner
This is book 3 of 8 in the Winds series by June Lund Shiplett.

This book follows Loedicia on her journey to return to her 2nd husband, Roth. She is forced to make a cross country trip from New Orleans to South Carolina (in 1794). This is so real and visceral, you really understand how difficult of a journey it would have been.

The second half of the book is about Dicia's daughter, Rebel, and her loveless marriage to Brandon, a duke. Brandon is the ambitious governor of Grenada, and Rebel is pregnant -- only she's carrying the child of her French-Indian lover, Beau.

These are really an amazing series of books, and I don't usually read historical romances. Pick all of these up and you've got a great read.

Great book! Find the whole series if you can.
Shiplett has a very unique talent. She creates totally believable characters, wraps them around real historical people and events and tops it off with such detail that you are actually transported back in time. You are there, in your minds eye you can see, hear and even feel the story. Reading Shiplett is like taking an emotional journey...a journey you'll want to take over and over again.

I am not the stereotypical historical romance reader. I am a career professional with 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren. Reading is my relaxation and my hobby. I read a great deal and have read most of the hot authors; Lael-Miller, Woodewiss, McNaughton and many others. None can compare to Shiplett!

The only negative thing I can honestly say about this author is that she has not given us enough. Please, if you can, let her know we are hungry for more!

PS - If there are any producers out there this series would make a great movie maybe even two!

Excellent Twist on a Civil War Romance Novel
This book is not related to any of June Lund Shiplett's wind books. It stands alone.

The story follows Union spy/entertainer Jeanine Gray and her move to Texas to stay in the home of Griff Heywood. Jeanine must keep the secret of her Union activies from Griff, whom she begins to love, and from the town's people who supported the Confederacy during the war.

Shiplett makes these characters so real -- they have flaws, bad hair days, gain weight and make mistakes. Not your average blonde haired, blue eyed wimpy heroine who gets saves by the big handsome, over-bulked stupid guy. These women think for themselves and can take care of themselves, thank you very much.

I'm really not a big reader of romances in general, but I love this series of books. I think I pull them out about once a year and reread them all the way through. It's truly amazing how Shiplett manages to weave history, family, action and romance thru this series.

This is a can't miss series and you will only wish that Ms. Shiplett had written more.

End of the Saga
This is book number 8 out of 8 in an amazing series by author, June Lund Shiplett. This saga (starting with book 1) follows one woman (Loedicia Aldrich Locke Chapman) and her descendants.

This books wraps up all of the stories and focuses on Loedicia's great-grandchildren. This is an amazingly long book and covers the romances and lives of 6 great-grandkids who are all living on the wild frontier of Texas. I don't want to give away too much of the plot, but reading these books is like connecting with your great-great-grandparents.

Shiplett makes these characters so real -- they have flaws, bad hair days, gain weight and make mistakes. This starts it all out
This is book number 1 out of 8 in an amazing series by author, June Lund Shiplett. This saga (starting with book 1) follows one woman (Loedicia Aldrich) and her descendants.

This particular book starts it all out with rebellious, Loedicia, who is newly arrived to the American colonies. She is promised (by her vindictive aunt) to wed a nasty, evil man, Lord Varrick. Instead Loedicia runs away -- only to find herself in the arms of Varrick's cousin, Quinn. After thinking Quinn has died in an attack by indians, Dicia reunites with Roth (whom she met while in Boston). I don't want to give away too much of the plot, but reading these books is like connecting with your great-great-grandparents.

An Excellent Follow-Up to Raging Winds of Heaven
This is book number 2 out of 8 in an amazing series by author, June Lund Shiplett. This saga (starting with book 1) follows one woman (Loedicia Aldrich Locke Chapman) and her descendants.

Possibly My Favorite Historical Romance Novel
This is book number 5 out of 8 in an amazing series by author, June Lund Shiplett. This saga (starting with book 1) follows one woman and her descendants. This particular book interweaves two stories -- the forbidden romance of cousins Cole and Heather, and the love triangle of Lizette and Bain and (Bains' brother) Stuart. Shiplett makes these characters so real -- they have flaws, bad hair days, gain weight and make mistakes. Not your average blonde haired, blue eyed wimpy heroine who gets saves by the big handsome, over-bulked stupid guy. Incredible Historical Romance novel
