This book delivers a message about kindness, warmth and freedom. Kylie is a koala who can not only sing but who derives great joy from singing. Since koalas are not supposed to be able to sing, Mother Koala tries to protect Kylie from ridicule. Kykie withdraws from singing when one day she meets other "talented" animals who love to sing and dance. Mother Koala allows Kylie to pursue her dreams. With persistence and self-assurance even koalas can realize their dreams. This is a lovely, kind and gentle story that is sure to please youngsters everywhere.
