Rediscovering ourselves
I decided to write this review because I believe the previous reviewers don't really do justice to this book. Appreciative as their comments are, they really do not convey the magnificence of this work. I'm not sure I can do it myself, but I'll do my best in the following lines.
First of all, this book is huge, which means that you will be reading it for a long time. Why is this relevant? Because whenever you touch the book, or carry it with you, there is an amazingly positive energy that emanates from it and gradually transforms you into a far more evolved being than you used to be. Therefore, in periods when you don't have time to read, just carry the book with you when you're walking down the streets, or put it under your pillow at night before you go to sleep. I assure you that, unless you have strong psychic blocks against spiritual evolution, it will operate wonders in your sense of well-being.
This transformative energy that I mention emanates, I believe, from its author, Zoosh, the entity that Robert Shapiro channels. Zoosh is an interdimensional entity whose main purpose it is to give us greater understanding about ourselves and the universe. One of the means that he uses to this end is to tell us of our history on this planet since we were seeded here, billions of years ago. Although that story is fascinating, the point is obviously not to entertain the reader, but to help the reader understand the historical roots of countless human problems. The understanding of these root causes does make it easier for us to address those problems.
The reasons why he explains humans were created are truly amazing. Although I read books before that hinted at this specific issue, I had never seen it as well explained as it is in The Explorer Race. In particular, the reason, as explained by Zoosh, why there is so much negativity on Earth, and specifically in our lives, really is mind-blowing. You really will grow as a human being as you read the hundreds of pages in which Zoosh explains this matter in detail.
One peculiarity of Zoosh's tale is that he is never judgmental in his accounts, and also that he explains complicated matters without ever generating fear in the reader. This results in what I believe to be the only shortcoming of the book, which is that he tends to become rather vague when he is talking about shady events. Still, one can get detail elsewhere, and in any case lack of information is one thing this book cannot be accused of, when seen as a whole.
To conclude this review, I believe that it is important to mention that this book will be very useful for people who already have read channeled material, but have gotten scared with some of the discoveries they have made into this new world. It is a book that is designed to explain a lot of stuff, but at the same time decrease the reader's level of fear in these matters. Zoosh truly is a wonderful being, and he will help you make sense of issues that I believe few others can.

Satisfaction of Human Questioning
"These books have satisfied a deep need in me to know the answers to the age-old questions we all have asked: Why is there so much suffering in the world? Will there ever be peace on Earth? Who am I? Why am I here? Where did I come from? The answers to these questions are so awe-inspiring and heart-warming that it is impossible for me to see any members of mankind as anything less than a hero - or divine hero - because these books tell us that we are here on this small planet in all the vastness of creation, of which our universe is a small part, to serve and expand the consciousness of all creation in a truly magnificent way."

One of The Finest channeled books I've come across
If you are new to this genre of reading or if you as myself are a well seasoned reader/seeker of truth and new age (I hate that term from the neg. conotations it has generated) info. This book is an excellent source. It is well put together very well and the other books in the series are also excellent. I have wide background in this type of info. A lot of which is personal. If you want to learn about the BIG Picture about life on earth and beyond this is a great book for a novice /pro. I especially like the fact that the info. here is not in any way fear based or scary. Every Chapter will leave you with good a warm feeling. the work is pepered with things that you can put into practice. It really ties in all of the other "realites" that you may have come across in other books. Shapiro is a powerfull Channel and asks good questions. The main contact is "Zoosh" who is disembodied entity that has a perspective as High and in-depth as our creator's. Read it and find yourself saying AH-HA. It all makes perfect sense! ---Peace

Biligual Bargain
For the serious student of Chinese or Chinese literature, this set will give you a taste of the major works of literature in five miniature volumes. Pocket-sized with each chapter alternately in Chinese and English, sections numbered for quick comparisons between the two, they promise to super-charge my language study and have already done a lot for my motivation. My only complaint is the condensed books jump chapters at precisely the moment you are hanging on the edge of your seat to find out what happens next, but it's a great way to become familiar with the works and choose which one you like best to really sink the money into and buy in its entirety. A great value for the language and literature lover.

Totally Compelling
If you are a seeker, Wanting to feel "alive and informed", looking for gods plan/enactment look no further until you read what this book has to say. Here is a highly respected version (By the Renoun chanell Robt.Shapiro) of how/who was involved in the creation of the Universe & Plan. What these "freinds" of and the Creator did to help procure what we (the special Explorer race)are all a part of. Including the role we all and premise we are playing in the grand unflodment of it all. I loved this read and think it will one day become a classic, existing along w/the other R.S. Explorer Race Series books. I've read 5 of them so far and feel they perfectly intergreat w/the other related books I've read!

Peace through safety
The Explorer Race series is, as a whole, some of the most useful reading I ever found in my life. This 12th volume goes, in terms of usefulness, beyond anything a reader might dream of. If you are searching for safety, simply go into meditation, place this book on your lap, and place your hands upon the book. The result is awesome, really indescribable. Do take advantage of it.

The Holocaust Chronicles
This is one of the most amazing books on the holocaust that I have ever seen, and I've seen my share. This book shows you things and stories that have never been heard my most people. It sometimes speaks in a humorous tone, and other times it is dramatically serious. It shows you pages and pages of pictures that capture the readers attention and make the reader want to continue on and on. The pictures draw the reader in and the captions offer the knowledge. It is very serious and accurate. I would recomend this to anyone intersted in the Holocaust whether it be for personal reasons or not.

A wonderful book, whatever side you take
In the Origin of Life debates, most books take one side or the other and argue that point. eg, Behe says God did it. Dawkins says evolution did it. Shapiro doesn't really present a point of view as to "This must be the way it started". Rather, he goes through all the evidence in a witty yet lucid style, and really gives you an appreciation of how complex life is. By the time you've finished reading this, you won't know how life started, but you'll want to read any book you can find and examine all the theories. At least I did. It's a shame this book is out of print, as its without doubt the best introduction to the subject around, even 15 years after it was written.

Not your run of the mill book on divorce
Separate Houses stands out as a helpful book not only for it's easy to read advice on divorce and stepfamily situations, but for the 2 "tests" that are included. You won't find these elsewhere (at least that I know of). There is the "Divorce Destructiveness Scale" which will help parents assess how they're handling the divorce in relationship to their children and the "Custody Determination Test" that can be used as a loose guide (along with other factors) in making a parenting plan that works. Just 90 pgs. long, the book packs a lot in.

An incredible wealth of information!
This is a challenging title, and I mean that in the best way.  While we have so many channeled books available -- primarily books that repeat the same general new age information -- Shapiro's work constantly offers new ideas in explicit detail, and in a way that seems to fit things together.

The ideas offered are so particular that they can hardly help but fascinate the reader -- when the entire race of humans is intrigued by certain features of the earth, how can we not sit enthralled as we learn of possible meanings to Sedona's red rocks, or of the Amazon River, or of Greenland (a "land in reserve" for the future) and its mystery?

What's more, Shapiro does not leave these as mere curiosities about the earth, but shows the connection between each of these areas and human beings.  In essence, he makes a true Mother Earth out of our planet, helping us to see just how "human" she is!  We learn what areas correspond to her breathing, to her blood flow, to her various senses.  We even learn about a lake where souls are meant to be welcomed into this world!

Even then, the reader is led more deeply than simply seeing connections.  We learn how to use gestures and certain exercises to heal the earth, which in turn heals ourselves.  The theme of material mastery heats up in part two, where Shapiro channels some important points about not getting caught up in the pursuit of psychic powers; about the purpose of living in a physical world; and about the role of our senses, and about living day to day.

The book is so dense with information that this review feels utterly thin.  With nearly 500 non-stop pages, the book is an absolute treasure of ideas; and though some may never fit with a reader's beliefs, they are at least here to challenge and open up questions.  Never stale, unique to Shapiro's style, this is a most interesting title for presenting such a challenge.

Chanelled information about ETs and the "Secret Government"
This book is not only tells us about ETs, but more importantly, about the "Secret Government" - a group of evil people who are really in control of America. This book reveals how much control they have, how they come to have alien technology, how they use this to harm/control people. Their goal is to control as many people in the world as possible, through making people miserable and then showing everybody that they can restore the world to a wonderful place - if only everyone lets them control everybody. They want to control everybody from the cradle to the grave.

A thought-provoking critique of the power of the press
Why Didn't The Press Shout: American & International Journalism During The Holocaust is an in-depth survey of American and international journalism during the Holocaust and offers essays and scholarly analysis by over thirty scholars of journalism and history, who consider what was reported about the Holocaust in over a dozen countries and languages. Studies of such reporting in countries from the Soviet Union to the Vatican and Romania make for a thought-provoking analysis of how the media neglected the story or, in the case of Nazi countries, twisted it to their own political interests. A thought-provoking critique of the power of the press.
