I love this book. This book takes you back to the twilight zone. The story's are very interesting. Plus the book is cheap in money price. The stories are well written. If you want a book with the twilight zone stories, I recommend this book. This is the best story telling book that I ever read. I'm not letting this book out of my site. The only place I would get this book is at Amazon.com. Thank you.

You're not always in the Twilight Zone....
Some of the stories in this book seem like they were written on a whim. Others try hard to make you believe they are worthy to be stamped.."TWILIGHT ZONE PPOROVED". The truth is that only a handful are very good, a larger chunk is passing, and the rest are jokes. The best story on this book is of course written by Rod Serling.

Good stories in the spirit of the 'Zone'
I enjoyed these short stories. There are some really good ones such as 'Baby Girl Diamond' where a brother and sister have an encounter with a sister they never knew, who died at birth. Also 'Lindemann's Catch' written by Rod Serling himself is really good. I also enjoyed the stories 'My Mother and I Go Shopping' and 'Manticora'. The trademark of the Twilight Zone series was that it was a blend of Science Fiction, Fantasy, the Super Natural and the Macabre. This collection of stories continues in that tradition, written by a variety of authors. I enjoyed it.

Good For a TZ Fan's Coffee Table
This is a highly interesting book, which also includes the script to the episode "Eye of the Beholder". Stills from the original TZ are included and captions include lines from the episodes. However, the stills are of very poor quality and this works against the tolerance of the reader. It was published in 1990, five or so years before computer screen-capture devices were developed, and before the internet emerged. A creative little book, but 10 years ex post facto, it's no more than mildly interesting. If you're a TZ fan, buy a used copy and put it on your coffee table, like I did.

Like everything twilight zone--It's great
This book was a real treat. It is the best book about the Twilight Zone I have read thus far. (I've read quite a few.) Reading the script to EYE OF THE BEHOLDER, one of my favorite eps, was a nice experience. Buy this book! I highly recomend it.

The Theory Of The Twilight Zone
I purchased the book off of yahoo.com the book is great and should be amazon.com The author is very imaginative and it seems like the book itself comes alive while your reading it,The book is like no other book I've ever read.It has alot of action and it seems like it was written by a ghost. I highly recommmend this book to readers, because I think the author is a man who has been through alot of hell, the book is written by Rod E. Serling Relations, Theory Of The Twilight Zone Editor,James Serling; Author,M.J.Sudore

TWILIGHT ZONE WANNA BEES
WITH THE EXCEPTION OF PERHAPS ONE STORY, THIS IS THE POOREST EXCUSE OF A TWILIGHT ZONE BOOK I HAVE EVER READ! THE MARJORITY OF THE STOREIES APPEARED TO BE ONES THAT ROD SERLING, HIMSELF, HAD REJECTED! CAROL SERLING APPEARS TO HAVE DONE A LOUSY JOB OF EDITING, ACCORDING TO ALL THE "F" WORDS IN ALOT OF THE STORIES! THESE WORDS DID NOT ENHANCE THE STORY LINES (WHEN AND IF THERE ACTUALLY WAS ONE!) ROD SERLING FANS, PLEASE, PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY (UNLIKE ME) AND BUY THE TWILIGHT ZONE BOOKS BY THE KING OF SCI-FI, ROD SERLING! SUSIECOOL

Good work
I enjoy watching the original 'Twilight Zone' and when I saw this book which was edited by Carol Serling, I wanted to see if she had the sense of what makes a good TZ story as her late husband did. Overall, I believe she did a good job. Many of the stories contained in this book are enjoyable and often contain the "twist" endings needed in the TZ tradition. I would recommend this book to any Twilight Zone fan who enjoys stories that take us to that other dimension of fantasy. It beats watching the new Twilight Zone anytime.

More stories like the original Twilight Zones
You know the saying: behind every man there's a great woman? Well that's certainly true in this case!

I'm a big fan of the Twilight Zone so I was a bit worried that these stories, not written by Rod Serling, would not hold up well. Thankfully, I was wrong about that! They were great! Rod Serling's widow made sure that these short stories pack a punch and follow in the same vein as the original TZ stories. A great buy IMHO.
