You may have a beautiful philosophy......
Dr. Seale explains the meaning of the parables, the outcome of his classes and lectures over a period of years. The Bible quotations are from the King James Version. Dr. Seale is an exceptional communicator and brilliant metaphysician. My extensive notes refer to mustard seed (69), pearl of great price (97), wisdom (38), negative people (42), Truth (78), evil (62), choice (153), study (238), persistence (184), skill (234). "You may have a beautiful philosophy, you may have lofty ideals, but what you will do with your philosophy and ideals is dependent entirely upon what you are inside yourself." A truly great book.

It's one of the best books ever written on Jesus' parables
Mr. Seale's interpretation of Jesus' parable enabled me to see our spirituality more clearly. This book made me feel so happy! I have bought about 10 of this book to give to friends. It has also made me feel closer to Jesus the Christ.

Essential New Thought book
This volume, along with the second and third, are essential reading for anyone wanting to understand New Thought. Quimby was a clockmaker who experimented with mesmerism, clairvoyance, and finally developed the mental healing techniques that later gave birth to Christian Science and then New Thought Christianity.

The later founders did not have access to the entire Quimby manuscripts, which we can now benefit from. Althought the writing is repetitious ( a collection of many short articles) there are gems throughout the pages.

It is fascinating to see the development of Quimby's thought, and also to realize that he was a more profound and original thinker than most of the people who were later influenced by him, directly or indirectly.

For a good introduction to Quimby, see Erwin Seale's "Mingling Minds". However, the student who is desires to transform his or her own thought, should read the present three volume set.

New Age, excellent, short but potent
The power of the mind is the basis for this book. It gives the reader full responsibility for their lives, what they think is what they get. After a study of Hindu yoga this book makes a lot of sense.

Over-rated. Under Written.
Do you want to be turned in circles, round and round again only to end up where you started and no better for the journey? That's the way I felt about this book. I read it twice, but was still in the dark! I bought this book on a glowing recommendation, but really felt cheated. Maybe it's just me, but I just couldn't figure out what this guy was getting at---and I've read and enjoyed MANY good new age books, so that wasn't the problem. I had the very distinct impression he was trying to make the draconian rules & ugliness of the bible more palatable. But to me it was like perfume on a stinking body. To his credit though, he wrote this back in the dark ages when you probably couldn't sell anything that didn't sound Christian without being branded a witch. But today there are many more, and I feel, better choices.
Of course, if you like your New Age philosophy dressed in Christian sounding garb, go for it. I'll take the real thing, thank you.

Sold on this one!
I have been practicing what this author says for awhile now. He really opened my eyes. Before I read his book I was not doing a great job of manifesting my heart's desires, as they say in the metaphysical business. But now I am amazed at how quickly things have changed for me. The latest example is almost unbelievable. I had built up a huge pile of bills and my spouse was pretty unhappy, despite the fact that this book gave me every reason to believe I didn't have to worry. Money would come. Well, last week I got a phone call from the city water department where I live. They have been billing me wrong for over nine years. And now they plan to send me a check. For almost eight thousand dollars! More than enough to pay off my bills. I am so glad I found this book. I truly believe it has provided me with a means to happiness, confidence, and faith. You're nuts if you don't order it right now!

Glad I bought it!
I bought this book two weeks ago, because my sister recommended it. When I saw it was about the ten commandments, I almost said NO. But this book is about much more than the ten commandments. It's about how to ask God to help you achieve your dreams, and it's said in a way no other New Age writers can say it. There are no gimmicks here. Just your own thought power! Buy it!
