This was an excellent book of love poems. Very heart-touching

I feel that this book is able to get anyone through some pretty hard times. As a seventeen year old, I feel that these "mottos" are something everyone should build their lives off of. It would make the world a much better place. I recomend this book to anyone.

Susan has put together a wonderful collection of mottos that inspire our spirits and comfort our souls! My ninety year old sister has shared her book with other seasoned citizens at her assisted living residence and wishes to send copies to many of her friends. A small Jewel of an anthology!

Yesterday I found this book on a book sale outside my office. I was attracted right at the moment when eyes were on the cover of the book. When I opened the book, my eyes were full of tears. I have a little daughter and she lost her Mom last year. I had been wondering what the loss meant to my daughter. Now through this book, I know how much she missed her Mom every day.

Susan Polis Schutz writes down what I cannot say. What all mothers feel but can't put into words. I bought this book and read it together with my daughter. It is truly a book that I will always remember, and Susan Polis Schutz is an author that I will never forget

I haven't read this book yet! Yet I am here to give a review on it. I saw this book in the hands of a young lady, who was siting at an inter-city bus terminal with a relative of hers. She was laughing and smiling and laughing and smiling the whole time I was there. Even when she stopped for a while to listen to her relative she was having a smile on her face and then again she started smiling and luaghing. I wondered what was the secret behind her immense happiness. Then I looked at this book in her hands with a finger inside the book as a bookmark. I read the title of the book and it was 'Always Follow Your Dreams'. No doubt she might have always been following her dreams, that's why she was so happy and care free. I at once decided to get hold a copy of this book and here I am to buy it.

When you have a difficult time with your teenager these poems are great to read together. The poems help you say things to your child in a postive way when it is hard to think of the right words.

Last week I found a package in my mail box... it was little piece of treasure from my best friend of over two decades. The cover of this book reads "Friends Are Forever" with beautiful illustrations all the way as you read and become absorbed with the treasures of poems by Susan Polis Schutz and others. I can hardly describe the beauty of the artwork every other page entails! But most of all, under the flip was handwritten, "To my best friend..." and signed by my life-long pal. Thanks bud, and thank you to all who contributed in putting this piece of treasure together. If you have a friend that you value and love, give them this precious book and let them know every ounce of what you feel for them!!! A true gift from the HEART.

This collection of poems saved my sanity when I was pregnant by showing me that the emotional roller coaster I was on was perfectly normal. Ms. Schutz eloquently expresses the sadness, fears, and doubts and joyfully expresses the beauty, awe, and love women feel when they are pregnant. I cried my way through every page and felt 100 percent better after reading it.

I buy it for all of my pregnant friends when they are in their fourth or fifth month, because at that point they have experienced many of the emotions portrayed in the poems.

The poems are thoughtfully placed in order from the prenatal months through the birth of the baby, which makes it easy to read and relate to.

This collection truly expresses the "beautiful miracle of love and life."

I used to love to hang around the card shops to read Susan Schutz' Blue Mountain Cards. When I bought this in 1993 for my boyfriend, it touched him. This is a great book with excellent poetry for someone who wants to express their rich love for the other person. It's a perfect gift to your loved one. It has rekindled our love many a time.

This book is all about love in all aspects. The feelings that one has when he or she just met that special person, gets to know him/her, when they are already together, when they have a misunderstanding, etc. At any time of your life, you can always find a poem here that describes how you are feeling at that moment. Because as we all know, we all do love somebody in our lives and it's always uplifting to invoke the loving-feeling once in awhile.

I read this book for the first time in the spring of 1974. I was at a that very hard stage in ones life, the teenage years. I just knew no one else felt the way I did. Then my sister gave me this book, and after reading it I realized someone had felt exactly the same way I had. After I read this book I fell in love with poetry and that love has lasted through out my life so far. I even started writing my own thoughts and feelings down as a result of reading these poems. I have read this book several times in the last 24 years, and my feelings have not changed. Everytime I read it I come to love it even more.
