Dr. Sapia was very successful in portraying the Latin immigrants in Valentino's Hair. The story line of the young man, Lupe was very entertaining and easy to follow.The description she used was great.

I compleatly loved the whole novel, everything fit into place perfictly. I felt as if I was there in the bronx durring the twentys, I felt as if I new the old barber and his son Lupe, and Manguel. Every chapter kept me climbing the stair case to I reached the final climax of the story. And You feel as if your heart has been broken, that someone that you knew all your life had just died. With what he thought was the worst thing that anyone could keep secert, and in the end the only one that he could tell was Lupe. He was the only one that could forgive him,the only one who could keep the secert with out anyone else getting hurt. This Author should be apluded for her fine work, if you haven't read it then do.
