Outrageous!
I've read the first page to a multitude of people and they simply don't know what to say. It starts off in the South Atlantic Ocean in Admiralty Bay with US Navy's "Operation Deep Freeze" with a "something" that "suddenly came roaring up out of the sea through no less than 37 feet of ice, and went on up into the sky like a vast silvery bullet(!)"

I've read the first two chapter 3 times now and maybe after finishing this book report, I can get on to the other chapters. The is jammed packed with late 1960's open-minded research and questions that begged explainations. Another great quote comes with the usual footnotes on page 14.

"Why should a Navy man know that a ridge 50 miles long by 15 miles wide rose 2 1/4 miles overnite in the South Atlantic in 1924? Ridiculous! This was of concern only to the cable companies." Enjoy!...

Uninvited Visitiors: A Biologist Looks at Ufo's

one of the best
Having collected and read Mr.Sanderson for years (those dealing with UFOs,Yeti, and unexplained phenomena)this is one of the standouts of his incredible line of great books. You'd be very hard pressed to find a book that is more impressive in it's views of the UAP&UAO (unidentified aerial phenomina&unidentified aerial objects).Mr.Sanderson's views are very intelligent indeed as he was a trained biologist and a Fortean as well.
He was a friend of John Keel's and he touched on some of Keel's subjects like MIB,the Mothmen, and Gypsies before Keel and these are addressed in the book as well as the Phladelphia Project.
If you can find it,get it.Most people want a substansial amount for this book (it's worth it).I lucked out and got a 1st edition for $....

Abominable snowmen: legend come to life; the story of sub-humans on five continents from the early ice age until today

Entertaining, but not enlightening
This book is an novelty piece for those interested in Cryptozoology, as it was among the very first books published on the matter and managed to bring attention to the entire Abominable Snowman phenomena, however, it is unresearched and laregly based on heresay. It leans towards sensationalizing the story to a point where it reads as though it was published by the Weekly World News.

Still, it is entertaining.
