Well-written book by leaders in the field
This is an excellent guidebook for practitioners. It includes a well-written chapter on the collaborative approach to assessing families and giving feedback. It also describes skills and strategies to help parents learn to handle their children more effectively. The authors have not only shown this approach is effective for aggressive and disruptive children, they have also pioneered the adaptation of the approach to anxious children as well as children with medical problems. For another good book, see Webster-Stratton & Hebert (1994): Troubled Families Problem Children: Working with Parents, a Collaborative Approach.

This book is da bomb!
This book takes place in Tibet and other exotic locations thoughout the world. It is the epitome of the action genre. You can't help but love Clay Loomis as he almost single handedly saves Tibeten monks and, of course, the world. The book is sure to make you want to read the rest of the short, out-of-print series. I did. The latter books, Hamlet Warning and Hamlet Ultimatum, predict the terrorist-crazed world in which we now live.

Wonderful true story
I have read this book, and founds it to be a very well written account of an inspiring true story. It is out of print now, but it should be put into a new printing so more people can read it. Our local libraries no longer have the book. One had a copy but it was a paperback and it literally wore out because so many readers checked it out.

Great novel. A tale with a real zest for life.
I'm not a big novel reader, but I picked up this weighty tome at my mother-in-laws house when there was precious little else of interest to read. This book tells a very interesting story that is interwoven with real history. The characters are colorful. Most importantly, the story has a drive and power to it that makes one want to get up out of your chair and do something!

Interesting Thriller
I just finished reading this book. It's about a little girl who is kidnapped and her mother's efforts, as well as a private detective, to save her from a child killer. There's more, but I don't want to ruin it for anyone. I found the book suspenseful and exciting. I liked the ending and overall it was a satisfying read, if you like thrillers.

Texas Noon
Texas Noon is an excellent sequel to Leonard Sanders Fort Worth - also good enough to stand-alone without having read the first book. Characters are well formed with foibles & quirks as well as strong personalities. Story is well told and, like the book, Fort Worth, interwoven with both real events & people that actually shaped the city of Fort Worth's history & legends. Left me wanting to read and learn more about my adopted hometown.
