Worn to Shreds
I haven't read it but am replacing my brother's copy which is literally falling apart from use. Since he is an aficionado of quote books, and this is his favorite of 30 years, that should be some kind of recommendation.

Fantastic Literature Quotes and beyond
I LOVE this book. It is not compiled by subject so I can read right through it and not only hear about subjects beginning with 3 lettters of the alphabet. The quotes are widely varied and come from fantastic, well known books as well as books I have later been prompted to read. I can not recommend this book enough. The quotes are thoughtful and intriguing. If you enjoy quote books, I can not imagine a better choice.

No magazine like the Sun
None, absolutely none. My back issues are read like old friends, and I ought to have them bound so they will last a bit longer. This book of collected stories and interviews from the pages of the Sun is brilliant. If you are not familiar with the Sun, do a web search and introduce yourself to the most intelligent magazine in print today, bar none. In a class by itself.

Four
Four in the Morning is one of the most real and down to earth books I've ever read. Sy Safransky clearly describes thoughts and visions we all have, but can't put into words. He shares with us both the dark and light sides that are him, and that are us. His writings pull at me to write my own story, as any great bit of writing will. It's rare to find such honesty that hits home the way this book does. I'm truly inspired, and anyone that reads this book will be.
