I found this book to be particularly enlightening...since I'm an astrologer and have a directed interest in the goings on in the minds of murderers,serial killers,etc. The cases of Ted Bundy,Richard Speck and especially Diane Downs gave me a new insight into their thoughts and motivations...this book was even better than I thought it would be an I use it constantly as a reference piece!!

Find your Ascendant and time of birth by reading this book. Use the forms to send for your birth certificate by making copies of the forms and enclosing the fee. If you were born after 1937 your time of birth will probably be on your B.C. (birth certificate)--the long form. This book tells where to send for your birth certificate and gives the phone numbers and addresses of the state office of vital statistics. An added bonus gives you the astrological insight on your time of birth and what it means. Examples of charts are included. If you're adopted there is even some information especially for you so dont give up on the time of birth for your astrological chart or horoscope if you don't know it for sure. This tarot deck is masterfully painted in such a way that the pictures seem more spirit than flesh. This deck is not comprised of exact sterotypical images but flowing figures wich the name sugests. Earth, Air, Fire, & Water replace the typical Disk,Sword, Wand, & Cups. A singel word discription is tastefully writen at the bottom of each card wich is quite helpfull. Some ( very few) of the images seem quickly drawn but all are well painted. All and all this is a great deck. The art is quite undeserving of such malace that other reviews sugest.

The deck is beautiful, the symbolism easy to read. I have used this deck as my deck to read others with for years. I've even worn one deck out and had to purchase another and soon my second deck will have to be replaced! This deck is great for beginners as there is a key word on each of the Minor Arcana. I don't know why the one reviewer gave it such a bad rating.... don't they know art is subjective? If you like watercolors, you'll love this deck.

Joyce Eakins is truly masterful in her rendering of the complex qabalistic symbology of the tarot. A finer Tarot Deck was never painted during any historical period. Tarot of the Spirit is a must have for any collector or for anyone exploring deep psychological and mystical symbolism.
