Shuja Islam has graciously given readers a look into the past at an era that will likely never be seen again. Tiger hunting will likely only be a dream for todays hunters, but what a dream it is. The book is informative and compelling to read. I was amazed to read about how tiger hunts were conducted by the Maharajas and the lives of people in these times. The stories are well represented with the appropriate photos.
