Dorothy of Oz
This book was so good and Roger S. Baum really brings all the characters. He finds a different way to bring Dorothy to Oz. He also really describes everything that happens to her on her journey. He makes her adventures really exciting.

Great New Oz Book!
Roger is the great-grandson of L Frank Baum, who wrote the original Oz books. In this book Dorothy uses her silver shoes to get to Oz again. The people there are in great danger, from the evil Jester who lives in Princess Gayelette and Prince Quelala's castle. The Jester has the Wicked of the West's magic wand. With it, he has turned lots of people into china, including all of the people of the castle. He also turned Dorothy's friends, the Tin Woodman, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion, into china. When Dorothy wasn't looking, he even turns Toto into china! Dorothy is very frightened and wants to save her friends. If you are an Oz fan, you'll enjoy this newest book!

A glorious story of family, friends, and creativity
This book is not just another boatbuilding book. Though it does cronicle the building of Dorthy Elizabeth a 28 ft. schooner. It starts with refurbishing there Friendship sloop, then giving it away to there son, with the idea of aquiring a boat with an easier to handle sail plan. At age 80, Roger and Mary Duncan decide to have a famous Maine boatuilder, design and build a 28ft. bare hull schooner for them. They would take on much of the rigging and finish work themselves! Building is interupted by the "crash", a major obsticle. Then a time of reflection and taking stock. The Duncans regroup, and with the help of a very supportive family, and loyal friends and neighbors, they go forward. You learn about the traditional boatbuilding and all that it entails. And, along the way you will be exposed to interesting philosophy, and superb poetry.(The Day The Dam Broke is perfection!!) As the book nears the end you can appreciate what has been accomplished, the style and grace in which the Duncans overcame obsticles, the community spirit, the genuine care and concern. A valueable story of success by hard work, taking a risk, creativity, courage in the face of adversity, and people pitching in to help one another. You will find yourself pondering, maybe uncomfortably, weather you would have the strength and courage to do what they did. And with such character and dignity. Have your kids read this too. There's much to be learned for all.

Best study Bible!
I love this Bible - I make sure this is the Bible our church gets for our graduation gifts for the seniors every year - it's also the Bible I bought my wife. The print is clear, and it's a durable Bible with lots of accurate notes.

A wealth of info, a great buy!
This study Bible is one of the best versions out there. It is very easy to follow and understand. It has outlines and footnotes that allow you to apply each verse to everyday life.

BEST STUDY BIBLE AVAILABLE
I am a Seminary student and have gone through many study bibles. However, this work by W.A. Criswell is by far the best in the business.

Life Span Development Review
The book is a little old, but the principles are still very relevant. I was lucky enough to have Dr. Rogers as an instructor for this course-imagine having the teacher who wrote the text. It is still an interesting read and thougt provoking.
