Excellent Book, and AVAILABLE NOW
A Great Page Turner!
If you like adventure stories, you will really enjoy this book. Wayne does a great job of building his characters, and carrying his story line. There is plenty of action and adventure in this book. I especially enjoyed the special relationship the main character has with his animal friends, and how he keeps the suspense rolling! I read this book to my son, and he loved it too. We are anxiously waiting for the next one, so hurry up Wayne!

Interesting Little Known Facts
First thing's first. I like this book. This book not only highlighted areas important in African American history, it also highlighted Black owned businesses, i.e. bookstores, restaurants, etc. One of the first places I looked up was my hometown/state. I found quite a few of interesting places in my own backyard which I had never heard of. This book isn't as detailed as some others I have seen, but I think it is definitly a good start.

The author is very talented--I believe this book will become an excellent movie, in that it is unusual, and original, well-written. This is not the kind of story that fades with time, but rather, you will anxiously await the release of Part II...
