The best source on the subject. A must read for all practicing dentists. An excellent review of the things we all learned in dental school but may have forgotten.

Very useful for reviews, and even basics, on a topic that is very important for dental professionals to keep up on. Could use another update since the topic needs to be kept current such as in the areas of diabetes and heart problems. Looking forward to the next edition!

Dr. Malamed's book sets the standard for managing emergencies in the dental office; I remember it from my oral surgery rotation in 1985-86. Almost anyone knows his name and this book shows why! Buy it and read it before it is needed (at an inopportune time)!

I've used Director for 5 years and i found this book full of good examples. I found the Object Oriented Programming chapter so exciting...Probably one of the best book on Director i've read (i'm waiting for Gary's new Book - Using Macromedia Director 8.5).

This is awesome! I've used Director for 2 years and was really excited about the new 3D features in 8.5 but thought I'd have to spend months learning how to use the engine. In 1 week of reading this I made my first user activated 3D projector that plays sound relational to my world.

I know why this book is so good: I looked at these guys sites in the front of the book for these authors - these guys really know how to create. Examples are inspirations!

The Baptism of Howie Cobb is an enjoyable story about a boy who left Georgia and rode a bus to South Dakota to work in a CCC camp. Howie left Georgia without understanding life, love, romance, or God. Through his adventures, sometimes frightening and sometimes comical but always enjoyable to read, Howie Cobb becomes a man. Dr. Robbins selects details carefully. He has a superior skill with dialogue. It has been said that he is indebted to Steinbeck in his style. He pays careful attention in The Baptism of Howie Cobb to the overall structure of the novel. Particularly noteworthy is his use of the geographical properties of various parts of the United States to develop the plot of the novel. At the same time, he ties the plot and the setting to the rich use of symbolism in the novel. I recommend it for entertaining reading.
