Jean DeWolff was a recurring police officer in the Spider-books. Her death at the hands of a serial killer named the Sin-Eater was a major crisis for Spider-Man. The webbed one is usually a fairly light-hearted guy, but this story had an edge to it that made it stand out.

While the photo illustrations are excellent, the photos do not do justice to the actual visual representation of each piece. These works of art need to be seen first individually in order to appreciate their craftsmanship.

I have finished the book once, and have now been going through it a second time implementing each of the seven items.
During tax season, many of my clients ask for advice? What should we be looking to invest our money in? What does the Roth mean? How much insurance do we need? How do we plan for retirement? Should we be making gifts to our children's college fund? Many times I am not able to spend as much time, during the tax season as my client will need to absorb the information provided then begin working on the plan. This book allows my clients the time to understand the basics of financial planning. Know the time requirements on both them and myself to become effective. This is a wonderful starting point.
I often recommend books that I have read on financial planning, but this was the first time that I not only have recommended the book I went out and purchased over a dozen additional copies. I have given them out not just to Smart Women, but young couples, and those looking toward retirement. The information is sound. It's easy to understand. If the steps are followed they will make any client Finish Rich.

I already loved the calcium-rich ingredients that this book relies on (dark leafy greens, tofu, almonds - to name a few) but the recipes are creative enough that they can hopefully win over those who do not.
Many of the recipes take quite a bit of time to prepare. That is the primary reason that I do not use this cookbook more often. However, if you plan ahead you can prepare some of the ingredients while others are cooking to save time.

Wealth can be measured in many different forms. This work only looks at the dollars and cents of it all, but how much of the true richness of life comes out of your wallet? When you're on your death-bed will you be thinking about the money you made? Or will you be thinking about the one person you loved most? The connection and intimacy you shared? So while I applaud you for wanting to master your financial future, I implore you to go a step further and explore the mastery of your interpersonal relationships.
Books like Clint Arthur's "9 Free Secrets of New Sensual Power" will take your issues of intimacy and connection and pump them up stratospherically above your present levels of power, with a revolutionary approach to personal development spawned by sexual skill and success. And it's not like he's teaching you to have ordinary good sex, either -- his stuff is radically different than most people's concept of sexual excellence. (Or watch his DVD "New Free Sex" for a more spiritual slant.)
Also you should take Dr. Phil's audio seminar "Getting Real" with someone you care about. The questions and excercises in this book will push your emotional boundaries and get you onto a more solid footing. And lastly you should indulge in some sheer escapist entertainment, like a super-trashy novel on the order of Andrea Sharkey's "Legends of Power" which twists the boundaries of time and space in an unusually entertaining romp of the heart. Shaking things up with unexpected inputs of entertainment can spark creativity in your brain that will make the mental connections you will need in achieving your Personal goals. (For don't forget, all work and no play make Johnny a dull boy.)
Now that you have your personal Financial Plan in mind, and your Personal plan along side it in your brain, go out there and work your way to riches!
This book teaches money management skills that are based on one's personal values. It takes one through excercises designed to help one identify what values are important, and then based on those values develop financial goals. For example, if missionary work is an important goal, this book will help one develop a plan for saving towards that goal. Mr. Bach emphasizes that YOUR values should drive your financial planning.
It is very helpful, and just the coaching/figuring life values part is worth far more than the purchase price. I am confused, though, as to whether this is supposed to be a companion guide to his "Finish Rich" books, or if it's a stand alone book. It does seem to contain much of the information from his books, without as many anecdotes (which I personally enjoy - they make the material come alive) - so there is overlap, but not completely.
My advice to you is to but this AS WELL AS the Smart Women (or Couples) Finish Rich book. Read the main book so you get the wonderful personal flavor that Bach imparts, but use the workbook to do the exercises. It's a little more expensive since you're buying two books, but for my husband & I, it's been worth every penny.
