Generic Spirituality in Real Life
Maybury cuts to the heart of what all well-intentioned religions and philosophies have in common with his 17 words: "Do all that you agree to do, and do not encroach upon other persons or their property." I have taught this as a mini-ethics course at my high school- one made up of over 60 ethnicities and nationalities- and all students understand it. Given the recent Florida election law war ,this book serves as a timely reminder that ultimately law must be found not in overly detailed law books, but in people's hearts. This book was recommended to me by author Harold Klemp (Autobiography of a Modern Prophet) who finds these 2 principles useful as an aid to spiritual living. So do I!

Best high-school primer of libertarian ideas about law
This easy-to-read book makes libertarian ideas accessible to any interested high-school or even junior high student. The concepts are simple, but not simplified. Buy it for your kid, or for the neighbor's kid, or for yourself. See other "Uncle Eric" books.

The cleanest thinking I have ever seen.
This is one of the very best books I have ever read, one of those that have actually shaped my thinking and that of many others! A book to be put in the not to be missed category! It deals with common law and politics and economy, all unavoidable aspects of our daily life, but most of all it deals with the hidden aspects of two laws, the ramifications of which politicians do not want us to know so we stay under their power. His thinking is so razor edged, one can only be thankful for having been woken from ones slumber.

God's love is so amazing!
This is without a doubt the most beautiful love story I've ever read. God really did amazing things in Eric and Leslie's lives because they trusted in Him. They left their lives in His hands, and He gave them the most precious, beautiful love story. This book changed all my views. It proves that He will bless us abundantly if we put our lives in His hands.

The Best Courtship Book I've Seen!
Wow, what an amazing story! Eric and Leslie Ludy inspired me and my (now) husband to walk in a courtship relationship instead of dating. In our courtship process, we read this book together and were blessed to know that respect and honor can still exist in relationships! As a result, my husband and I had a very romantic courtship and just like Eric and Leslie - enjoyed our parents in the midst of it. We stayed open and honest with each other and had a lot of fun! God has richly blessed us with Eric and Leslie's story!

This book is a MUST READ for those seeking God in their life
Eric and Leslie have the most amazing love story I've ever even dreamed of. And that's all because they let God write it for them. Their book shows how God wrote the most romantic love story for them, and how He can and wants to do the same for you. Eric and Leslie's story has turned my whole world around; I don't think at all like I used to. They challenged me to let God be number one in my life, and to let Him invade my whole being, and since I've done that, He has done miraculous things in my life! If you are truly searching for ways you can please God and make Him not just a part of your life, but actually make HIM your life, you HAVE to read this book. It is very well written, you will never want to put it down once you start. It'll make you laugh, cry, and long for God's best for your life. Read it and see for yourself. :-)

Buy this book.
The Healing Nutrients Within is a must if you want to stay healthy. It's about proteins and amino acids. Amino acid deficiencies and inborn errors of amino acid metabolism are important causes of diseases, some of them deadly.

Problems with amino acids may cause mental or physical illnesses or both. So you should own this book if you want to have a sound mind in a sound body.

There is a separate chapter for each of the amino acids found in the human diet. And there are an amazing hundred-plus pages of scientific references.

Serous subject, vital information
This book strikes at the core of nutritional know how. If your serious about fueling your nutritional knowledge base and intrested in real world application of that data. This boook is for you. Really, this is not an light reading. This book is chock full of information that you will keep going back to. This is a book that you keep for life! After you read this book the benchmark is raised.

Comprehensive and extremely helpful
One of the best references on my shelf. Scientifically detailed but easily understood. When I have a query about an amino acid, I usually reach for this book first. If it doesn't have the precise answer I want, the reference lists contained in the book will lead me to find what I need.

Number two in a nine book series that every student needs!
I was hooked on Richard Maybury's series after reading "Are you Liberal or Conservative? Or Confused?" I immediately ordered the entire series and have not regretted it for an instant.

I began with number one and moved through them all in the correct order, or at least the recommended order by the author.

"Let's talk about Personal, Career and Financial Security" was the first and just wet the curiosity. It left you wanting to know more.

This book began the meat and potatoes of a series that is easy to read, written on an understandable level for everyone and enlightening to all concerning the many mysteries of historical, economic and governmental issues and interminglings that have to do with social, moral, political and so many other issues.

I would recommend this series as a Middle School Required reading text with in depth discussions and working groups for the youth of America to be better informed than they now are about the world and how it all works and fits together.

Mr. Maybury's elaboration of the various "Models" that people create for the world they try to live in was a very thought provoking exercise and explained a great deal about the great divide that currently separates the American consciousness.

Two down and still batting a thousand. Great job Mr. Maybury.

GET THIS BOOK!
This is an awesome book on economics. It is a fun and easy way to learn about WHY and HOW our economy works..I learned so much......my father gave me this book and I have not stopped raving about it...FIVE STARS!

Excellent book.
I'm embarrassed to say that I learned more about our economy in this half-inch book than I ever did attending college (which included several econ and management science courses, some of which were pretty high level).

Maybury is to economics, what Luther was to the papacy, and Paine was to the political elite.

Bravo.

Maybury for President!

If you want to understand money and the economy, this is a great place to start. Enjoyable reading as well.

I plan to read the entire Uncle Eric series.

Buy it, you won't regret it.

An EXCELLENT Read
This book is the most informative and best written book I have ever read on politics. It's filled with humor and candid comments about the United States Congress.

The Way the Senate Was
This book makes me nostalgic for the days when Members of Congress cooperated & got things accomplished. Great vignettes of Maggie! Very accurate rendition.

The Best Look At The Goings On Inside The U.S. Congress
The year was 1970, President Nixon was still in office, however, an intern by the name of Eric Redman was on hand in the halls of Congress to witness the fascinating dance of legislation as The National Health Service Corps was attempting to be born. This book provides a personal account of the birth and struggles of the attempt to pass a piece of legislation from within the private confines of who was then the second most powerful United States Senator, Warren Magnuson from the State of Washington. While the names have changed, the struggle for a balance between power, influence, and social consciousness and survival remains the same. This book is as fantastic look behind the scenes of the most influential body of power on earth contains the essential ingredients today as a quarter of a century ago. It is a must read for anyone with an interest in political legislation and stands alone in its own right as a factual story that is as fascinating and compelling as any! fictional novel you will ever read.

beautiful marvelous marvelous marvelous!
This is a book that I enjoyed as a kid. It is the perfect book for a young reader. If you are lucky enough to come across this book it is a definite good deal. Any child would love to read of the boys love of mud and his amazing washing machine. With so few words and the constant repetition it is child friendly.

Wonderful Memory of Childhood
I have looked for this book for years, it was one of my favorites as a child. I would definately recommend it to any reader, young or old. It brings forth the imagination and carries the reader back to those delightful days when getting dirty was all that mattered.

Key Word: Marvelous
This book is wonderful. It was handed down to all of my siblings in my family and was a favorite of all. Great imagery leads to fantastic fun and imaginative excitement. This book is a must for both boys and girls. Loving mud doesn't hurt either.

Feynman honours his hero, and electroweak guy pays tribute
This is a little jem of a book. The arguably two greatest living physicists of the 80s, Feynman and Weinberg, both Nobel Laureates, pay tribute to their master, the man who said that mathematical beauty is what physicists should look for in physical laws, the one and only, Paul Dirac. These memorial lectures are the best one could wish for, together with Abdus Salam's tribute a couple of years before. I derived pure delight in reading Feynman's lecture, which explains the existence of antiparticles predicted by Dirac in his equation of the electron. Weinberg however surprisingly outstands Feynman in giving a lecture on symmetry laws, etc. These lectures would have surely thrilled Dirac, without doubt. For all physicists who like to have those little precious books on their shelves, it's a very good and enjoyable buy.

Physics by two of the very best!
As usual, the best physics books are short and to the point, as is this one. The two Dirac lectures may serve as a perfectly good mini physics course all by themselves. I always enjoy a Feynman lecture, and this is no exception. He cuts to the chase without sacrificing the plot. But, I must say, in this case the Wienberg lecture is the better of the two. Weinberg's style has a particular grace & beauty about it that gently exposes the aesthetic meaning of the search for a picture of nature.

Two of the best give great insight into fundamentals.
Feynman yet again gives great insight into the laws of physics, this time exploring the reasons for existence of anti-particles, starting from the dirac equation etc.. Plus some really outstanding photographs, that fella Weinberg will be chuffed to have his name mentioned on the book cover!

Everything about WWII that they don't teach you in school
Richard Maybury's book, "World War II: The Rest of the Story" is perhaps the most interesting historical book I have ever read. Maybury takes apart World War II from start to finish and does a superb job in showing all of those things which people simply do not know about the war.

He shows the war in a way in which it is almost never talked about. Fallacies I was taught as a child about the war systematically were shot down as I was reading this book. He does a very good job of relating to the reader. If you have the typical American Education of World War II, like I did, this book is perfect for you.

I highly recommend this book for those who want to know the truth about World War II and how what happened after World War II relates to them today.

Right on Target!
Maybury does an excellent job of telling "the rest of the story". The evils of Joseph Stalin are detailed & U.S. propaganda campaigns are exposed. Every American should read this and ask why in the world our politicians have forever embroiled us in the internal affairs of warring Europe? The foreign policy approaches of George Washington & Thomas Jefferson will hopefully be reconsidered by learned individuals after reading this.

Excellent as usual!
Richard Maybury is a great author! With the companion volume World War I, Maybury will give you a new perspective on wars and history. Filled with facts of interest rarely mentioned elsewhere--P. T. Barnum's source for his sideshow foreigners, the advanced German spearpoint backed by horse drawn carts, the comparison of civilian murders by the Axis versus that of the Allies, the end of the war in the Pacific and the reason for the use of the atomic bomb, the remarkably successful Swiss policy, etc, etc.--"Uncle Eric" writes succinctly and in a way to be understood. Highly, highly recommended!!

Solid
This is one of the better Colorado photography books out there. While the photos are not consistently great, they are consistently good. Wunrow spent a lot of time hiking to remote areas of Colorado, which is to be commended. I do recommend 'Colorado II' by David Muench over this book, but I have ranked 'Mountains of Colorado' as the third best book on my list of 'Best Colorado Picture Books' (which can be seen by clicking on my name and looking at the Listmania lists).

Great Christmas gift
I purchased several copies of this book and sent them to my friends and relatives across the country.

Everybody loved it.

Stunning Scenery
Catch a glimpse of some of the more rare and overlooked vistas that this amazing state has to offer. Wunrow offers an incredible visual aesthetic in both photography and book design that takes the reader on a voyage to all corners of this wonderfully diverse state. A keen eye for composition, combined with strenuous backcountry hiking to areas unknown to even avid backpackers like myself, the images are striking and sometimes haunting. Former Governor Lamm's essays are engaging and well written, and form a wonderful complement to the photographs. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the most uniquely magnificent and previously unpublished views of America's most beautiful state.
