This book is an amazingly complete history of three political revolutions. It offers a broad based look at the contributing factors for wide scale radical political change. I loved this book because of Mostafa's objectivity. Although you do get the sense of subdued aggression towards the United States. This is a great book for any budding revolutionaries looking for a ground plan for getting started. It is an extremely intelligent book for students and enthusiasts alike. My only complaint is that my softcover copy is more that 20 years old and is falling apart.

This is a very good summary on the subject of ideologies for undergraduate students. The book assumes no prior knowledge of the subject. It is easy to read and very comprehensive. It's a pity it has no photographs of at least a few major political leaders and ideologues. I sometimes use this book as an encyclopedia of ideologies to refresh my memory about the basics of the subject, even though I have tought ideology to different kinds of students for some time now.
