I just finshed reading this book that I had borrowed from the library, and I will definately be ordering a personal copy to use as a reference during my children's school years. The tips are easy to read, remember, and use. The book is broken down into 9 sections, that make it easy to find tips in the same category. The Author of the book: Robert D. Ramsey, Ed.D., has also written other books of this nature. The next book I will be reading is "501 Ways to Boost Your Child's Self-Esteem". And I expect I will love that book, and need to add it to my collection as well!!!!

For school administrators who need some tips/helpful hints or for those aspiring to become school administrators.... This is a must read! Although not read like a novel, this written tool gives much needed advice for handling situations that eduators and administrators must face in today's world. This should be in every administrator's office and in every graduate student's curriculum!

Timeless quotes such as "Normal adolescence is sometimes very abnormal." and "Short-term goals are refueling stations along the journey." fill the pages of Well Said, Well Spoken from cover to cover. An excellent gift book for anyone who works in the area of education, and highly enjoyable to simply browse through again and again.

With suggestions for classroom teaching, student relations, classroom management, working w/others, and personal development, 501 is definitely packed with ideas for every aspect of a teacher's life. Some of the tips we all hear in our EDU classes, some are thought provoking, and some are just plain common sense. 501 is exactly what the title says it is - a book filled with TIPS. It is not a textbook, an outline, or a methodology. It does not go into detail or explanation of how to implement these tips in the classroom. If you're looking for a step-by-step instruction manuel to solve your management problems or to lay out a lesson procedure, this is NOT the book that will help you. If, however, you are looking for suggestions, ideas, or a place to START, where you can then take over and use the tip to your particular need(s), then this IS the book that may help you.

scymanski has an ok story here. price has a good one about the gorgon. that one was very enjoyable, and had some lovely details. otherwise, this was dreary read. so many of these stories were not only badly invented, but seemed so uninspired to. i almost felt sorry for the writers, for making so bad stories. i think this is chaosium's worst.
