A revolutionary new approach!
Psychotherapist Cliff Isaacson truly has the answers to people's problems. He's developed a revolutionary new approach to understanding personality. I am amazed at how much I use his insights with family, friends, and even business associates--his techniques really work!

Forget everything you might have heard about birth order. Cliff's new theories are the best I've ever seen--and I am a psych major--because they really work! He's mind is like an x-ray machine that can see to your very core. No more weeks or years of therapy or analysis to solve problems!

His work is truly groundbreaking--it will change marriages, families, friendships, businesses--maybe even the world!

All my friends are fascinated with this practical, useful material. You will be, too!

Calculated to be an "Oprah" book
Too bad Oprah dumped her book club, because the author went to a lot of trouble to try to write a book that might have been considered had the execution been better. As it is, this is a slow read about a group of women, most of whom come off as a bunch of self-pitying whiners. Even the name seems to emulate another much more successful book, "Snow Falling on Cedars."

Moved Beyond Words (almost)
This book makes me want to drink exotic teas and walk long distances, all in the company of a group of female friends. If not that, at least get around to picking up my bedroom so I can feel content in it! I just finished The Elegant Gathering of White Snows, crying and laughing throughout. It is the story of eight wildly different women who are able to come together and gain strength individually through their friendship. Few books are powerful enough to make me cry, yet this one does - not in a sad, depressing way, but because of how the human spirit allows us to move beyond our tragedies. I am recommending it to all the women I know, and even though I am part of a book club, I hope all the members will read it now, rather than waiting for this moving emperience!

Entertaining and Inspiring
I was tremendously inspired by a novel titled "The Elegant Gathering Of White Snows" by Kris Radish. I have never felt so connected to the characters in a book as I did these women, ordinary women, each life so different yet connected through the common bond of estrogen. Although this story is that, a story, it proved to be more helpful in all aspects of my life then the volumes of self help books and articles that line my shelves, while at the same time kept me entertained with every paragraph and page.
The women in this book each have tremendous strength and a great sense of adventure that had been squelched by their life's journey. It was refreshing and uplifting to see them come back to themselves and make a statement to the world in such a quiet and unique way.
Ms. Radish has a delightful mind and talent. I eagerly look forward to her next work.

Flat
True crime accounts might be one of the last guilty pleasures of the literary world, now that erotica has come out of brown paper wrappers and entered the mainstream. In a genre frequently laden with numerous factual details,it takes a skilled writer to weave all the necessary elements into a vivid and absorbing storyline. This book, while apparently well researched, falls short of that mark. In many parts it offers little more than a flat, emotionless recounting of events with little insight into the human aspects of this case and the individuals involved.
