This book is small enough to put in your pocket or purse, but big enough to change your life. It describes how to do a standing meditation practice where you visualize yourself filled with light, then open your heart and see this light protecting and blessing people you care about, or those in need, and even the souls of those who have died. I find the Divine Light Invocation a positive influence, even in events like world conflict, where I would otherwise feel helpless. The practice also helps me stay focused and centered. Clear, simple instructions! I highly recommend it.

Glimpses of a Mystical Affair explores the life of one person, whose commitment and understanding allowed her to serve as a source of inspiration to many people. Julie McKay, who lived in close proximity to Sw. Radha for 7 years, shows how Sw. Radha was able to read the signs presented to her and act on them. In doing so, she illustrates how it is possible to live a life in two worlds at the same time--the everyday world and the spiritual/mystical one. The book is well-written, easy to follow, and poetic. I have read it several times and gained something new on each reading.

This tape has two separate meditations. Swami Radha leads us through a powerful journey to our own light and our own connection to the Divine that is within us,as symbolized by the Divine Image with which we identify.She has a very compassionate voice and is accompanied by a wonderful soft music of a very empowering mantra.I cherish my tape and find that as I seek refuge in it I am able to bridge the experience into my daily life.

This book is a well-written and clearly illustrated study manual for enlightenment using the devotional system of Hindu Tantric Yoga. The author is a long time beloved disciple of the Yoga Swami Sivananda Saraswati. Born in 1887 this man of God established an ashram (spiritual retreat) by a beautiful mountain lake in Rishikesh India. There he became a great enlightened Yoga and trained a group of disciples who have done a lot of good in the service of humanity. In this book Swami Radha goes into a detailed description of how to understand the nature of various deities (aspects of God) which reside inside of ourself. Among these deities are the presences of God (male aspects) and the shaktis of God or powers God (female aspects). She gives useful exercises for laypeople in order to prepare the mind for this enlightenment. Readers of this book will also be interested in the book, "The Serpent Power, the Secrets of Tantric and Shaktic Yoga." (Dover Publications) by the British student of Hinduism Sir John Woodroffe. This latter book predates Swami Radhas' book and contains a lot of additional information (especially for those who know a little Sanskrit) along with many of the same pictures of deities that are in hers. I believe I have benefited from the work that Swami Radha and Sir John Woodroffe have done in helping to unlock these secrets of Eastern Mysticism and make them more assessible to sincere study by Westerners. I hope the one power and the one presence of the good and omnipresent God who blesses and protects the souls of Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Muslims (and many others) blesses and protects the heavenly souls of these sincere and good hearted people (Swami Saraswati Sivananda, Swami Sivananda Radha, and Sir John Woodruffe). May they have many students who also acheive enlightenment and may there souls live in heaven a long time (forever, if they so choose).

Swami Radha shares with the reader her diary of the trip to India that changed her life and by extension the lives of all those who have been fortunate enough to know the Teachings of the ancient wisdom. There is Light, there is joy, there is wondering and there is delight in the reading of this story. She explains what it takes to truly undergo a profound transformation and what is required to listen to the messages that lead to knowing the purpose of our lives. I could not put the book down and have felt since I read it the power of truly knowing my own inner wisdom. The work is very articulate and very moving. She brings a sense of what it was like to journey to a land little known from the point of view of those who truly know.

Through her very effective approach to dream interpretation Swami Radha empowers the reader to understanding their own dreams through journaling and through the power of undrestanding symbols and the hidden language of metaphor. It is an experiential work that provides excellent suggestions and insights as to how best we can incorporate our knowing through listening to the messages of our dreams. I highly recommend it to any one who is in search for a more profound meaning of our existance.
