For frisbee collectors only
Don't be fooled by the title, this is not the complete book of frisbee. Ultimate only rates a couple of pages, for starters. There is nothing to speak of on throwing technique. It is not particularly well edited, either - many assertions and heresay have slipped through the net. Lots of nice pictures of collectable discs, if that's what you're into. A bit of a disappointment given the dearth of books-in-print about throwing technique and ultimate.

Price Guide lacking current collectable prices(1998)
If you're buying this book as a priceguide to old or collectable frisbees, you should know this. Since the advent of online auctioning after 1998, many more frisbees have come out of the closet. Therefore, the priceguide part of the book is woefully out of date. Most collectable Frisbee prices as stated in the book are overvalued by 30-60%. I hope a revision of this book is printed soon.

Outstanding Guide, Historically Significant
This book is a must for anyone associated with or interested in Frisbees, golf discs and Frisbie Pie Tins. Not only does it provide a guide for determining value of many highly collectible discs, it's entertaining, well-written, and well-designed. A collector's item in its own right and I highly recommend.

The Other Kingdom
Telling the tale of Colin Wornock, an Irish runner striving to break into the upper reaches of international track, The Other Kingdom does what many other books about running does not, it goes past just the running aspect of the characters life. The book has a number of sub plots that all interwind, that of Colin's mind, his realationship with his more exprienced lover, that with a family friend who doubles as an analyzing proffesor, his training partners and finaly his fiesty coach. At times the plot can be weighted down with hypothectical conversation about the nature of heroism and pushing oneselves but all in all serves a greater purpose of Colin's final victory over himself.

the point&figure method of anticipating stock prices.
The content itself is good and useful in making some profits in stock or currency trading. However, there is one major problem about false signal (either buy or sell signal), about which the author never mentions and never gives any suggestions to solve this obstacle. In general, the book is helpful !

Go figure.
If you are looking for a book that will explain point and figure charting, keep searching. This book is sketchier on the actual construction of p&f charts than a full service broker.

An interesting historical reference. You can see how far the methodhas come since 1933. But if you want to learn and use P&Fcharting, buy the Tom Dorsey book, "Point and Figure Charting: The Essential Application for Forecasting and Tracking Market Prices." excellent for timing your entry, setting stops and forming an exit strategy as well to control risk. The Point & Figure Method of Anticipating Stock Prices
Is a good primer for the novice technician to decide whether or not persue further study of Point and Figure Charts. The book can be read in an hour or so, however, I found his writing style somewhat tedious but clear. Another draw back is that the print is small and poor quality in places, probably because it's a reproduction of the original. Since the book was written there have been a few improvements to the construction, recognition of more patterns, and optimization of P&F charts. None of these improvements are earth-shaking as they are only refinements that have evolved in the changing markets.

For advanced study, John J. Murphy's comprehensive book, "Technical Analysis of the Futures Markets," goes well into detail of the construction of P&F charts, many pattern examples, and suggestions how to optimize them. Although Murphy wrote the book around the futures markets, it applies to stock equites, mutual funds, options, and indices as well.
