Finally! Want to have something off-beat and smart (and maybe funny, too) to say at a party, or tell your uncle who's always ragging you about what you have yet to do with your life (like he's Mr. Accomplishment?)? Who would've thought that at age 9 Genghis Khan became chief of his mongol tribe? That at age 42 Sigmund Freud stopped having sex? Or that at 87 Mary Baker Eddy founded the Christian Science Monitor? Nick Galifianakis's illustrations are so wickedly funny you want to tear them out and stick them on your refrigerator. A perfect birthday gift for the person who has it all--including a sense of humor.

The protagonist takes over the role of "Vince", writer of the male viewpoint column in a national women's magazine. Anyone who has read magazines such as Glamour, Mademoiselle and so on will be amused to read how these articles are produced-- assigning different names and occupations to the same four friends he calls for quotes every month. Although his personal life is full of complications, the parts about writing as "Vince" are what makes the book worthwhile.
