Truly Phenomenal. This sends me back to my childhood
His work is absolutely one of a kind and this book captures it in sharp detail. Charles brings his personal experience to the canvas and make the reader feel the warmth of the period that each piece represents. This book allows the average person the opportunity to own an entire Peterson collection without paying the high price tag that accompanies his hard to find work.

THE BOOK IS BEAUTIFUL!
I LOVE COLLECTING CHARLES PETERSON PRINTS. THEY ARE WONDERFULLY DONE AND SO DETAILED. I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING EACH NEW PRINT.

You must have this on your coffee table!
This is a masterpeice. It's beautifully done and it is a book that will be passed along from generation to generation. The author does a wonderful job and he's really an expert on this subject. And if you love this, and I know you will, you should get your hands on his newest book "Philip R. Goodwin, America's Sporting & Wildlife Artist" from the the Coeur d' Alene Art.

Now, go buy one of these books before they're all gone. This book costs a lot to produce and was heavily subsidized, as the price indicated, with donations and fundraising.

2000 Wrangler Award winner!
Charles M. Russell, Legacy has been awarded the Wrangler Award as the best western art book for the year, 2000, by the National Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Scientifically sound and easy to read
I laughed, I cried; two thumbs up! A science-based book, complete with citations of all the current literature, coupled with a readable, flowing style of writing. An important repository of all the scientific knowledge of these species in this region and issues affecting them (e.g., fire, climate change), yet engaging even to younger amateur herpetologists. Or, of interest to anyone who simply loves Yellowstone and the Tetons.

Building Philadelphia since 1724......
The Carpenter's Company of Philadelphia, chartered in 1724 and descended from the Worshipful Carpenter's Company of London, is still in existence today, was at one time a virtual monopoly-guild in the building trades in colonial Philadelphia, and carried many fraternal- and mutual-relief obligations for its members. If one looks at the colonial member lists (still visible in Carpenter's Hall -sound familiar?) one sees many FreeMasons and many Philadelphia "builders" who played prominent parts in the War for Independence. A notable example is Col. Thomas Proctor of the Continental Line Artillery, who was the Sitting Master of Masonic Lodge #2 in 1777 when the British occupied Philadelphia, and took himself and his officers off to Valley Forge to Winter with the Continental Army and meet in "military" lodge #19 while lodge #2 continued to meet in the City -under British occupation. Bro Proctor was also the "eminence gris" who procured use of Carpenter's Hall by the Continental Congress when the Founding Fathers had no place to meet in 1775. Members were once sent out to the residences of deceased members to retrieve the "rulebook" before the wife could have a look, and no less than Pres. Thomas Jefferson was REFUSED a copy of same for patterns to use when building Monticello (he was not a member). A colonial curiosity.

A wonderfully honest and human account of pioneer life
One of the most accessable, yet honest histories I've read. Brooks was a well-respected historian in academic circles, yet with her straightforward style instantly transports the lay reader into the early Mormon frontier.

Honest example of how God uses and blesses people.
I know Dallen and his wife personally, and they were serving the Lord and helping people in their daily lives, before God blessed them with financial success. This is truly a heart warming testimony of a couple that places spiritual values above all else, and how their business success is only one facet of how they continue to help people.

Excellent Overview for Recently Diagnosed Diabetics
Just after turning 50, I had a sudden, unexplained weight loss that turned out to be Type II diabetes.

This book is one of the best I've read as an initial overview of the disease and how to cope with it. Its clear and concise, providing adequate--but not too much--information in plain language.

If you've recently been diagnosed with diabetes, I strongly recommend this book as a beginning point in your education. Its 10 bucks well spent!
