a children's book is not just for kids
This book was required reading for my sister, brother and me during childhood. I later found myself referring to it often when I was in architecture school. After great pressure and pestering, I brought it from home and conducted a reading during studio discussion, to the great delight of my peers and professors. I still open it when I need an intellectual boost.

your kids will love this book
My brother had this book when we were children and it is wonderful. I still quote lines from it to my children: "Your baby sister is not a chair" or "Buttered toast is not a toy". Both the words and pictures will greatly amuse you and your child. I am going to buy a copy for my mom, because ours got lost and she has been looking for one ever since.

A Fan of the Stars
If you believe that the stars tell the truth about your life than Susan Miller's Planets and Possibilities are for you. I loved reading this book! Susan Miller's smooth and romantic writing delivers splendid descriptions of how astrology works. Her monthly web site, The Astrology Zone has always been spot on for me!

Beginner's Astrology 101
In search of a good beginner's book? Here you have it. It is simple and basic and not too complex. Though I must admit, I really liked her break down of science vs. astrology for each of the planets. That was a unique and interesting touch not many astrology books look at. I was hoping for more, much much more, especially after viewing the credentials of the author. But the book is seriously lacking for the advanced or even intermediate level astrologer seeking a good read.

A GREAT book to help you explore Astrology...
Susan Miller has a devoted fan. I have been so excited to turn each page and discover the history and advances this ancient science has given us. The writing is clear and interesting. The introduction brings the reader to a more personal level with the author. I felt like I was sitting with her and she was sharing information with me; a new friend. I highly recommend this book to anyone searching for a book to gain a clearer understanding of Astrology and how it pertains to you.

Not for Preschoolers (as listed)
I started reading this book to my (then) 4-yr-old. I think we got through 4 pages. We haven't opened it since. It's just not put in a format that would keep a preschoolers attention. I agree with the concept and general theory of the author, but I cannot recommend this book for young- to non-readers.

Finally, proof that I really was a child!
My girlfriend swears to God that I have no childhood memories or nostalgia of any sort, so I got to thinking of my childhood, and this came to mind. I read this book as a kid, when neither of my parents could muster up the courage to talk to me about birth and sex. I remember really liking it, probably because it pulled few punches: I don't know what I'd have thought of a daddy's "little red wagon" parking in mommy's "station," ya know?

Well, one check to Amazon later, and glory be! If I can order it, I will, just to say I have it again. It'd make for quite the conversation piece--plus, I wanna see if my Mom remembers it too.

It makes me wonder what an updated 2002 version of the baby-making talk would go: "When a mommy loves a mommy very much, they hire a stranger, or a friend, or any other male, to donate their sperm to one of the mommy's, who then proceeds to have a little baby of their own." Almost makes me wanna be an author, actually.

Great book!
My daughter read it when she was 5. Although she thought there were "yucky" parts (the pages describing intercourse) she reread it to her friends omiting the yucky parts because she thought the pregnancy and birth parts were just great. It's the type of book I'd suggest for parents who want to put the whole "sex experience" in the context of a loving family relationship. If you loved "Where did I come from" you probably won't like this book. If you thought "where..." was not "serious" enough, you'll probably like this one a lot.

Programming garbage; error ridden book
This is an absolutely horrible, error ridden book. My college uses this book, with the knowledge how bad it is. The woman can't even get a logical true and false table correct! She does not even use the standard programing format in Javascript. If you want such garbage go ahead and buy it! There are other books that are more informative and without such numerous errors in the text.

The best JavaScript out there
THis book is very very good
im in college and the webdesign teacher suggested a different book and i took a gamble and got this book instead and i love it
