Book Review: The Brotherhood
This book explains in great detail the dealings of himself(Leslie Payne) and the Krays. Being an accomplace of the Krays it gives an extodianary insight into the background and personalities of all three of the Krays. It also tells the reader of the exact details of the credit fraud dealings made by the gangs in London at the time, including real letters sent at the time. With such an interesting view of the gangster underworld at the time, this book makes for compulsive reading. A must read for anybody interested in the Krays or the underground world in London in the 60's.

A great historical review of otology
This book by Dr. House reviews the path of one of modern otology's great founders. It reveals much of the history of otology through the life of the subject of the book, Dr. Howard House. It of course starts with Dr. House's early years and chronicals his training at USC, the eastern U.S., and Germany in pre World War II times. All of the great founders of otology are mentioned with real insights into their personalities and contributions to the science. Virtually the entire history of stapedectomy is told. Truly a great book for anyone interested in the field of otology(such as myself) or an interesting review for those that practice the specialty.

Could Act as a Reference Book
This book offers the reader a very good run down of the Terrorist organizations currently or historically active. This book can act as a reference book in many ways. The format is well thought out and the details are easy to get at. They provide a break down of who each of the groups is and why they are active. They also add a number of stories that really make this book a great overview of the issue. I would like to see them update the book for the 90's. If you see this book and you are interested in the topic, pick it up.
In Depth Look at Terrorism on the 1980's
If you are looking for the most comprehensive look at terrorism in the 1980's, this book is excellent. Dobson and Payne detail every group and their motives with intricacy. I loved the stories of the groups actions and training around the world. Overall an excellent read and fairly easy, although if you do not have a background in Arab culture, the names might give you a little trouble.

Wonder how many times the authors had to use the FOI Act?
This book is the most detailed and thorough terrorism intelligence dossier I have ever read. The chronolgy of terrorism is an interesting read and provides nearly boundless potential for school projects. The sections on the weapons of terrorism and the list of terrorist organizations are excellent reference material, and something to relieve your mind from the chapter on how terrorists aquire their funds. This should be required reading for any recruits of the CIA, FBI, M16, and any other intelligence or international law-enforcement agency.
A Knowledgeable Book!
This book proved to be a very good book about the world of terrorism. You get a roll call of the terrorist leaders who operate on a global basis. You are also able to find out where their centers of operation are at. Even more interesting is the types of weapons that are listed by the author. You are able to find out the weapon of choice for the most dangerous terror groups in the world. This is a very good book that you should take time to read. You will find that this book is very informative and good to read.Buy it.

The hows, whys, and wherefores of employee ownership
Now in an fully updated third edition, The Entrepreneur's Guide To Equity Compensation from the Foundation for Enterprise Development provides an excellent and highly recommended introduction to the hows, whys, and wherefores of employee ownership, as well as how empowered employees can help build a cutting-edge, proactive organization. Individual chapters address both individual-based and company-wide stock plans, savings plans that can hold employer stocks, crucial issues that can interfere with success, and much, much more. A recommended primer for any employer, for The Entrepreneur's Guide To Equity Compensation costs far less than what an unwise stock options decision would impose upon a corporate bottom line!
AN EXCELLENT, CLEAR GUIDE TO EQUITY PLANS!
This excellent and clear explanation of approaches to equity plans, provides a guide to creating an employee ownership strategy. The book covers: stock grants; direct stock purchase programs; stock option plans; qualified employee stock purchase programs (ESPPs); employee stock ownership programs (ESOPs); 401(k) and other qualified retirement plans; nonqualified deferred compensation plans; stock appreciation rights and phantom plans; stock programs for American companies operating abroad; and the most suitable equity arrangement for various types of legal forms of companies. Explains the concept, pros and cons, and tax and cost implications. Viewing this work as a compensation consultant, I find it to be an outstanding reference, providing highly accessible explanations. Very highly recommended.
This is the best work of its kind on the subject.
I have used the Entrepreneur's Guide for several years. It is an excellent tool - comprehensive yet easy to understand and logically organized. It presents a very complex area in a clear fashion that goes a long way to helping the interested person decide on a general approach to equity compensation that will fit their needs and help reach their goals for a very reasonable cost. I recommend it to anyone considering exploring an equity compensation strategy of any kind.
