It is a given that we will all at one time or another be the recipients of hurtful actions or words by people whom for some known or unknown reason have developed a hatred or dislike for us. Dr. Patterson lays it out in clear and precise terms, that we should learn to grow through adversity and not wallow in the mud of self-pity. More importantly, Dr. Patterson reminds us that God is the One in control, and that nothing can escape the watchful eye of God especially when it comes to His children.
