For the last couple of months my wife and I have been on our way back to developing a personal relationship with God. I felt my previous agnostic beliefs were not fullfilling enough for me anymore. However, I did have many unresolved questions about Jesus, Christianity, and the belief of God in general.Reading this book helped me sort out all of those thoughts in an organized, intelligent manner. Palau does not "preach" in this book. Rather he explains all viewpoints and their counter arguments from religious and skeptical points of view, and tries to shed some light on the subjects. I found it to be very helpful as a somewhat "confused seeker" of the truth. As a result of reading this book, my wife and I have entered into a relationship with God and Jesus Christ and have found new happiness and peace in our hearts.

I recently read this book and enjoyed it very much. It didn't unfold like I expected as the author talks at length about the belief systems of atheists, several well known individuals in particular. That I found that to be most clear and informative.

I finished reading this book a few days ago and I really enjoyed it because Luis Palau wrote to so many different audiences. Is not for the Christian alone, but for those who question or might question the existance of a God who is concerned and relevant to what happens in out society. It was well written. I guarantee you won't fall asleep reading it. One thing I like is the fact that Mr. Palau is not trying to make you believe what he is trying to portrait but he just lay it down on the table and you'll decide whether the God Christians preach is real or false, is relevant or not to human lives. One little detail that bugged me about this book was the fact he didn't give credit to Jesus Christ for giving him the inspiration to write this book. I believe Jesus Christ must be first on the credit list. Other than this, this book should be part of your library.

This bible is an excellant way to read, study and learn the scriptures. It truly helps make The Word come alive. Great book for beginners as well as those wanting to re-read this great story. The extra information and notations written are not only great guidelines but offer some invaluable suggestions and advice. Highly recommend!

This book has really opened my mind up to new and exciting things as far as relationship, taking care of your body and just educating yourself in general. I now know what my man exspect of me and what he wants. I hope that Ms Ella Patterson write more material on anything because I would be the first to buy.

If you have not "talked" to God for a long time or you "think" you don't have time to study Bible, grab one and read it! It's excellent!!!!!

This book is full of stories that will help you to pray and remember that is a God of miracles of love. We have come not to expect miracles and accept Scientic Tenchnology. God still exist we have not become greater then him. This book will help you be humble and remember God and his Grace.

My goal in reading this book as to find out who is Luis Palau? It as easy to read and had a lot of information about his childhood years to his adult ministry. I am eager to read more about this man of God. Anyone who reads it will be encouraged to seek God for truth!

I learned things I never knew about King David and King Saul. You can apply the difference between the two, to your life. What happens when God has chosen you for something particular and you do not keep Him in your life? Read and you will find out. Excellent book!

Many books have been published about the same topic. But no one can come close to this book. One needs practical resolution when in bad time. This book offers exactly this. It is preachy but it is good preaching. Highly recommended

It's good to see the Good News Bible back on the shelves again. Reading, say, the letters of Paul in the King James can be a chore for new Bible readers. This version helps you understand some of the most difficult parts of Scripture and is otherwise a fine read. Palau's version is very interesting with all sorts of helpful notes. The green print, however, might get to you after a while. One of the best Bible presentations in a long time.
