Every husband needs to read this book to overcome ignorance
I have been a Christian husband for 29+ years and thought I was a very good husband. I read this book and it pinpointed my weakness as a husband, one item at a time untill I was exhausted - but had to agree with it. THE SCRIPTURE REFFERENCES ARE DYNAMITE!

This book is for MEN to learn WHY & HOW to Love their WIFE.
This is an excellant book that will teach men why the are here and why they are married to their wife. It shares GREAT insight for men on HOW to love their wives and why their wife does the things they do and what she is expecting of her naturally as God intended. No other book that I have encountered teaches men the ins and outs of why they are where they are as this book does. It is a must read for all men looking to be what he is meant to be here on earth. It should be taught in school. The synopsis needs to be changed. Women benefit in reading the book to see where her husband maybe coming from, but MEN need to read the book to have a successful marriage and become the glory of God as God intended. It will do no man any good for his wife to read it untill he has read it himself.

Awesome! Separates the men from the boys.
"There is a way that seems right unto a man; but in the end ...." Most of us guys think we know what a woman needs from us and how we should treat the most important woman in our lives. Often we get left wondering what happened when this woman ends up gone or, at best, leaves us alone in our own house. Many such marriage let downs could be eliminated simply through discovering and using the practicalities of marriage which abound within this book. Every man could use a dose of this stuff on a regular basis. A great book for real men.

MacBeth: A Facing Page Edition--The Original Text and a Translation into Modern English
Published in Paperback by Shakespeare for Today Trust (1990)
Authors: William Shakespeare and Eric Zuesse
Amazon base price: $3.95
Average review score:

Shakespeare really is written in English!
Zuesse's translation is understandable, while still retaining Shakespeare's original message. While reading MacBeth, I could comprehend the literature and imagine what was happening in the play better than the other works by Shakespeare I have read. Eric Zuesse has mastered the ART of translation.

A translation of MACBETH that Shakespeare would approve!
Eric Zuesse is doing for Shakespeare today what the Bard would be doing for himself today: making his plays accessible to everyone.

Shakespeare's appeal 400 years ago was due not only to his profound insight into the workings of the human heart and to his ability to express the range of universal human emotion from agony to joy in unforgettable words BUT ALSO TO HIS USE OF THE COMMON MAN'S LANGUAGE--the vernacular. However, some of today's Shakespeare is no long available to the average reader because some of his language has become archaic.

Is there a solution? Enter Eric Zuesse.

His translation of MACBETH avoids the pitfalls of today's would-be modernizers: bowdlerizing, simplifying, and paraphrasing.

In contrast, Eric Zuesse has remained so failthful to the meter, rhyme pattern, and content of every line of the original text that Shakespeare himself himself would have given his endorsement!

Well worth the price of admission!
I like the book, and the chapter titles. I think it is a good book for those that have no idea on how to get started in starting any type of business. It has good solid resources, and advice. I've spent fifteen bucks on a lot worse, and have gotten nothing but disappointment...but not here.

A great Business Basics Book
I enjoyed reading this wonderful heartfelt written book. I will use the advice given to start my own business, which is a computer consulting business. I think the advice that the book outlines is good to use for starting any business. Good resource, great advice. I am telling all my friends who are thinking about starting a business.

Design of Distillation Column Control Systems
Published in Hardcover by Edward Arnold (1985)
Authors: Page S. Buckley, William L. Luyben, and Joseph P. Shunta
Amazon base price: $199.00
Average review score:

The milestone of distillation control design
The book deals with distillation control systems, mainly referring to pneumatic devices; it doesn't matter, the theory is still the same and the reader is more involved in this subject comparing the old pneumatic approach to the newer electronic one. I recommend it for people involved in design, startup and troubleshooting of distillation, absorption, extraction plants.

A Primary Source History Book
Most history books are dull. Not this one!

I came across this book at a garage sale. I thought it might be useful to get ideas for History Day topics for my kids. I found it so interesting and well written that I read it cover to cover.

The reader learns history the way historians do-using primary sources. The book shows how to analyze letters, speeches, newspaper articles, maps, advertisements, statistical data, court records, and first person accounts. This is not a comprehensive history book, but rather a historical sampling of 15 topics. Some of the topics are "Conceptualizing the Modern World (1500s)", "The Confucian Family (1600-1800)", Islamic Fundamentalism and Renewal in West Africa (ca.1775-1820)", and "Globalism and Tribalism: Challenges to the Contemporary Nation-State (1980's-1990s)".

The Authors give a brief background, questions to consider, and suggestions to help the reader analyze the primary sources. I would strongly recommend this book to advanced placement high school or college level history teachers. It teaches critical thinking in a way rarely found in history texts.

As An Entertaining as His Music
"Somebody, Someday" is wonderful autobiography and travelogue. Robbie Williams, one of the biggest pop stars on the planet except in the United States, and Mark McCrum takes us on a yeaer-long journey through the ups and downs of Robbie's life. We get to see the ugly moments that inspires his introspective, self-effacing, and witty music. These moments are offered up forthrightly and honestly without the sense that he is fishing for pity. It's a good and solid read even if you're not a Robbie fan.

Not as good as the first official book
Although this book was good it was no where near as good as the first official book "let me entertain you". The book follows Robbie and friends around while on tour and has some great bits about Robbie himself but i was a bit dissapointed to find that the book is alot of the time about his band and management instead of him. Although that is not a *bad* thing, i really just expected it to be more about the great Mr. Williams himself, i didn't purchase the book to read the life story of people in his management (although they were very sad and touching storys)! A good book but could have been better.

Honest and Interesting
Everyone knows who "Robbie" is, it was nice to get a look at "Rob". This book takes away some of the aura of stardom that surrounds "Robbie the pop Icon" and shows you his human side.

Excellent read!
