Very good
I am a psychic and medium and usally we dont' need books since spirit tells you what you need, i wanted to find out if any other medium or psychics had written anything that was true to help others, and found this one. I read all of it within two days and was happy that it was all factual stuff. Certain things we all go thru were all here. I recommend this for other psychics and mediums esp new to practicing readings and new to clairaudince. It was alot of fun to read and hear other mediums storys too.

Opened My Eyes!
Wow, I never knew I was capable of communicating with spirits! I loved this book because it was easy to understand and the author has humor. I found the stories amusing and amazing, and I liked hearing from different mediums on how they developed their abilities. It was very helpful to me to learn about others experiences so that I know I'm not weird, but what I've seen is natural. Thank you for an excellent book!

How to Communicate with Spirits
This book was written to express Life after Life. It was done in an easy to read way with excellent experiences from people who have experienced with no doubt. I know people who read it will become more aware of Spirit connection and communication and will be so helpful to those who have lost loved ones - it will be so comforting to know they are still with us.

Turning Lemons Into Lemonade
When I turned 50 I was feeling pretty blue. A friend pointed me to Women Celebrating Life as a way to uplift myself. I tried the ceremony for the fiftieth birthday and then the one titled Forgiving Mother. Wow! I didn't know how much "stuff" I had stored away. I feel relieved of a lot of animosity now. I would recommend this book to any woman who wants to release negative feelings associated with growing older and other life situations. As the author intended, the book helps to turn lemons into lemonade. I plan to buy some more books for Christmas presents.

AN EASY TO USE GUIDE FOR RECLAIMING YOUR PERSONAL POWER
Women Celebrating Life is a must have book for all women to keep on their bookshelves throughout their lives. It spans a lifetime, covering the same things we all go through; from puberty to birthdays to marriage to babies to deaths and everything else in between. Simple ceremonies are included for these stages of life which encourage self recognition, understanding of others, and self empowerment through forgiveness or celebration. The ceremonies bring self assurance to girls at puberty, grand ceremony to landmark birthdays, and comfort through divorce and death. It's not a book you have to sit down and read at one time, you can simply refer to the chapters as the occurances in your life arise. I turn 50 in two months and am eagerly awaiting to celebrate this half century mark in ceremony with my friends and family. The book will also make a great gift to give my women friends and nieces.

Open Organizations: A Model for Effectiveness, Renewal and
This book is a unique guide for both external consultants and internal change agents for facilitating change in an organization. It also identifies the components that are necessary to ensure an organization's success. Mink's nine-window model, discussed in the book, offers an excellent at-a-glance framework to assist organizations in identifying where they are, in regards to a functional and open organization. The nine-window model may be a tool that change agents can use to demonstrate (to others) their organization's readiness for a fully open organization.

The book is an excellent reference resource for designing and implementing change initiatives. Consultants, change agents, managers, human resource executives and others will find this book a very practical guide for organizational change.

Brilliant Reference
I will admit that I have not read this book cover to cover, but I have used it rather as a reference tool, and so far, it has never let me down. It contains an even spread of the simple and the technical when descibing all aspects of the human skeletal system, leaving the reader to find the relevant information. It is well illustrated with simple, labelled line-drawings, rather than the highly detailed renderings of some other texts, making memorisation and reproduction easier for the student. Skeletal anatomy is well covered and well ordered, with references provided. The appendix, which contains "Muscle origins, insertions, innervations, blood supplies and principal actions" is, I believe, one of the books strongest aspects, and is well set out; easy for memorisation.
Students will benefit from this book.

Great book for spinal anatomy and gross anatomy class
I am a chiropractic student and used this book for my spinal anatomy and gross anatomy classes. It made the information easier to understand. My study group and I also used the following which is also on amazon: Spinal Anatomy Study Guide: Key Review Questions and Answers by Patrick Leonardi
ISBN: 0971999600
The study guide had the type of questions that were asked on my spinal anatomy and gross anatomy tests. We all passed the class. These two books are must buys.

Not for the average collector
This is not a book for the average pottery collector. It contains no "values" or "prices" and has only enough illustrations to explain the author's points. It is, moreover, not written in a popular style and occasionally lapses into academic jargon. For anyone interested in the "why" or "how" of Rookwood and American art pottery in general, its role in American industrial and cultural history, and its relationship to the increasing freedom of American women, this book is without peer. It includes an excellent bibliography that goes well beyond the usual suspects.
