THE BEST
this is the best book you could possibly read!! It is so good, I finished it for everyday of the week for two weeks! I've been trying to find this book ever sence I checked it out from the library. So if you're looking for a good book, you just found it!

beautiful masterpeice
Not only is this novella beautifully written, but it is also a fast and enjoyable read. I spend many nights dreaming of the actions that occur between the two main characters-Cupid and Psyche-just to try and re-experience its spender. Based on the mythological love affair that was forbidden by Cupid's own jealous mother, Venus, Orgel portrays the struggle for true love that occurs between the godly mortal Psyche, and the love-stricken God Cupid. Through sensual verses and phrases the theme of true happiness and passion leave the reader begging for another chapter. I recommend this book to anyone who loves mythology like myself as well as forbidden romance, for it is truly a wonderful combination of the two.

Wonderful!
I devoured this beautiful book in an hour. Full of romance, it retells the story of "Cupid and Psyche" expanding the characters of both protagonists, making them likable and offering interesting insights into their minds and hearts. If you enjoy mythology and fairy tales, you definitely need to read this book!

Excellent Children's Story
Well written and beautifully illustrated story. I read it to my children (ages 4-8) who listened intently as the story progressed. Excellent character development and plot. I bought the book because I share the same last name as the author. Interestingly, we have a black cat with white paws and a brown dog that the cat swats and chases. Must be a relative of Nero Corleone! Great family keepsake.

The best book I've ever read!!!
My aunt and I read this book together for one of my 4th grade book reports. We took turns reading it to each other. The story affected me in a way that no other book has. My aunt gave me this book before we traveled to Italy for a vacation. When we read the part about Nero returning home to Italy it made us cry. When he said something about the stars being much closer and the moon being much brighter in Italy than Germany, it touched my heart. I hope that one day I can read this book with my nieces. Best Greek Mythology Fiction!
YOU CANNOT MISS THIS BOOK! This book really goes into Greek myhtology and it is a story equivalent to Theseus and the Minotaur. I liked the adventure and the vividness of this book. I also love Greek mythology. All information here are 100% accurate.

It is about a princess of Crete nemed Ariadne. She was a daughter of King Minos of Crete and Queen Pasiphae. Queen Pasiphae also gave birth to the Minotaur, a half-man and half-bull beast. Athens had to pay 9 youths every seven years to feed the Minotaur. Once, Theseus, the King of Athens' son came to Crete, Ariadne fell in love with him. They danced in the banquet room and later Ariadne helped Theseus to kill the Minotaur by the help of the architect Daedalus. Theseus killed the Minotaur and they at once set sail for Athens with the rescued Athenians. However, Dionysus wanted Ariadne as his bride and Theseus had to leave Ariadne at Naxos. Sionysus became Ariadne's husband.

Bright colors make a great contrast for a wonderful story for young children. The great price was well worth my adventure. gret story for kids!
Until now, I, along with most of the people I know, thought that WWII only affected the Jewish population, it affected the
Germans as well. For me, the beginning of the book was a bit slow going, but once I got into it a little farther, I found out that it
was a great book with a wonderful moral. These two little girls, one a Jew, one Nazi-German, managed to retain a beautiful
friendship despite hundreds of miles and social bounderies between them. I would recommend it to anyone, especially kids!

Interesting Book
The Devil in Vienna by Doris Orgel is a very good book. The main character is 13-year-old Inge Dornenwald, who lives in Vienna, Austria, in 1938. Inge is Jewish. However, Inge's best friend, Lieselotte Vessely, is not Jewish. The two girls have been best friends since they were in first grade, and they plan to be best friends forever. But then Lieselotte moves to Germany. Her father and older brother are Nazis and they forbid her to continue her friendship with Inge. Inge's parents also say that she shouldn't be friends with Leiselotte, since her father is a Nazi. But Inge and Lieselotte remain friends. After all, they are best friends, and even blood sisters. They will do everything they can to struggle against the Devil in Vienna to remain best friends forever. This book, written in diary form, was very interesting. It not only tells about what life was like for the Jews during World War 2, but also anti-Nazis and even some Nazis. I would reccomend this book to anyone who likes to read about World War 2.

Best Friends Stick Together!
Hi, Girls! This was my FAVORITE book when I was a kid. I am now 34, and I recently found my old copy of it. I started reading, and couldn't put it down, even though I read it several times when I was younger and still remembered every detail.

If you've ever had a best friend move away, or had a friend that your parents didn't like, you'll be able to relate to the "Blood-Sister" heroines, Lieslotte and Inge. If you're curious about the life of ordinary girls during the Nazi era, this book will fascinate you.

The book is MUCH better than the movie adaptation, "A Friendship In Vienna," which left out the most interesting part of the story: Lieslotte's experiences after she moved to Germany. Imagine going to a school where you have FIVE hours of Gym, every day!

Mouse Who Wanted to Marry
actually my daughter had to read this book, and she really enjoyed it.

Kat's Kind Review
The book the mouse who wanted to Marry was written by Doris Orgel and illustrated by Holly Hannon. I thought that this book was a very good book. It is a great book for all ages. It is about a young female mouse that is all-alone and wants to find someone to marry. So one day she goes and asks the sun to marry her but he said that he is not strong enough. So then she asks the cloud but he said he wasn't tough enough. Then she asked the wind and he said that he couldn't always be there. Then she asked a brick wall but he said that he was decomposing. Then out popped a fine male mouse. They greeted each other greatly and ended up getting married. So do they live a happy life together? Read the book for yourself.
