Best book on this subject
The title says it all for this book. This is the best book that I have read on the subject of Windows 2000 Active Directory Design and Deployment. So many other books read like Microsoft white papers and nothing more. This one includes a lot of real world advice and examples for designing and implementing Active Directory. In addition it does one thing that other technical books don't generally do... it offers a business reasons in addition to the technical reasons why you would want to implement Active Directory in a particular way. In a world where technical people generally do not understand what a business is trying to accomplish and business people don't understand what the technical people are doing or can do, this is a refreshing breath of fresh air.
The subject is covered thoroughly and the advice is solid and based on real world experiences. No stone is left unturned in providing a concise and detailed path for analyzing the system, looking at business needs and problems, networking traffic issues and every tip and pitfall that you might encounter. An excellent reference book to solve problems as well as a fine cookbook that walks you through the design and deployment process one step at a time.

This book is a great read!
This book covers Active Directory with in a concise manner but adds "real world" experience from the author. I enjoyed reading this book.

Active Directory Design for Real Users
This book is a great read before implementation but I find it most beneficial as a great resource for Active Directory "what if" scenarios.

Gary's well-organized style and simple reading makes for a good, advanced reviews of Active Directory Design. This is a book I turn to first when evaluating proposed AD design changes.

Other Active Directory Design books simply rewrite white papers or design AD in a single domain with few sites. Gary Olsen's real life scenarios provide useful information for real world experiences.

Beware of the Man Behind the Curtain!
This guy is yet another charismatic hooligan... who [took] the teachings of Paul Twitchell of Eckankar fame, and created his own self-worshipping cult...
There are many wonderful and informative books on cults and false gurus, and the types of psychological manipulation these characters employ (see 'Feet of Clay', or check out 'Snapping' or anything by Margaret Singer or Steven Hassan) which would benefit anyone more than this fanciful rewriting of high-sounding spiritual precepts used to lure in the gullible.
Or, you could go to New Mexico (where the people still haven't caught wind of his soiled reputation in Fargo, North Dakota) and become a starry-eyed worshipper.
There are also innumerable books with genuine spiritual value that don't involve self-aggrandizing egomaniacs.
This book will lead you on yet another fanciful road to nowhere, or to the feet of 'Garji' as he is known to those who focus on him as the one and only 'true relationship' and his path as the 'only true path'. Sheesh! Give me a break!

MasterPath: The Divine Science of Light and Sound (Vol.1)
A 'must' for any person interested in universal metaphysics. Profound yet readable, especially relevant to those weary seekers lost in the labyrinth of the lower phenomenal worlds. Stunning and bold in its revelations. RWB.

MasterPath: The Divine Science of Light and Sound (Vol.1)
Ditto to what Mr. Holtje said. I picked this book up on a whim and on every page was struck by the power, clarity and truth of what was written. This chance encounter with truth helped lead me to the best thing that has ever happened in my life; you'll see what I mean. Just go with that deep instinct you feel.

A so so book with lots of pictures and no big words.
Once again I had to buy this book for a college course on New Media. I must say for starters that this book is way better than the book "Designing Interactive Digital Media; by Nicholas V. Iuppa, Nick Iuppa ". I have to say that the paper quality on this book is excellent and the usage of larger fonts makes it a good and easy read. So I highly recomend it for those who have an attention defecit disorder when it comes to learning techno mumbo jumbo. What I can't stand is all of the pictures and graphics thrown about the page wherever the heck it pleases the author. It gives the book the feel of a dyslexic Web page on crack. The author gives many examples on New Media applications and I'd say that he knows his stuff. It is a book for the user who already has thier feet wet in the New Media environment. What I liked about the book is that the author gave examples on software available on other platforms such as the Mac. A platform often overlooked by the Microsoft pimps of the world. This book has found it's way onto my bookshelf for semi-permanent storage at least until I find a better one. In summary, this book aint that bad of a deal for the retail price and it by far beats the hefty, jacked up price here at the IUPUI book store.
