Not for Women Only
This Bible has been extremely helpful to me. In addition, my husband and several of my male friends have commented that it has helped them better understand the needs of the women in their lives. It is easy to read and written in a way that makes it easier for me to relate the Scriptures' meanings to my present day circumstances. Very helpful for young Christians as well as older more mature Christian women.

This is an excellent reference bible for busy women!
I'm in love! This bible is written in contemporary language and is chocked full of references and examples. I use it as part of my daily morning devotion, for witnessing and just general at home study. A must for Today's Christian Woman.

A little boy asks his father to "Tell me my story again, Daddy," and the rest of the book follows their conversation about how the little boy came to be. The story-within-a-story format prompted my daughter to compare herself and "her story" to the little boy in the book and "his story," and has led to some special, meaningful conversations of our own. An excellent starting point for teaching children about the "facts of life" from a loving, common-sense, Christian point of view. The wording and images are natural, simple, and direct, and turn what could be an awkward topic for some parents into a piece of cake. A lovely and beautifully-illustrated book. Much thanks to the authors.

excellent resource for sex ed. from christian perspective
Highly recommend this series from a christian perspective. Practical, down-to-earth, realistic.
Good illustration. well done. My kids responded well to the format. Fills a real gap.

An Absolute Must For Every Christian Family!
I recently purchased this book to go through with my 10 year old son. I have been so pleased with the dialoge provided in the book! It asks the questions kids really have and helps us parents give answers based on scripture! This book is a wonderful tool for using with your children as you talk frankly about sex and the consequences of going against what the bible teaches. I have already recommended this book to family members with children 8 to 11.

Even though my son is 10 years old now I have decided to go back and purchase the two previous books to this one to go through with him. They certainly couldn't hurt!!!!

Excellent book in a series on a necessary subject!
There are two books prior to "What's the Big Deal" and we have used these wonderfully illustrated books with all three of our children. We followed the age suggestion and found that the subject matter was presented in a very natural and positive way. The main reason these books are such a blessing is that we need to tell our precious and innocent children the truth so that they are prepared mentally and emotionally when the "lies" inevitably come their way. Don't wait! Your child needs this healthy information.

The book is an excellent adaptation of the adult version.
The book is an excellent adaptation of the adult version. As a Christian educator, I have read this book to 3rd-8th graders. Each time the book has held their attention. Its analogy of our heart being like a house and how Jesus wants to transform each room in our house is done in a way children can understand. The book communicates some deep, complex Christian spiritual beliefs in an entertaining and simple manner for young readers.

A great retelling of the story of Elijah
This book is wonderfully written and beautifully illustrated. It is the complete story of the Elijah 1 Kings told for kids but not dummied down for kids. It is really a great book. I look forward to getting other books from the Follow the Leader Series.

What Happens When We Die

Explains life after death from a christian worldview.
This is an excellent resource for individuals looking to explain to youngsters about death, and life after death, from a Christian and biblical perspective. It helps to provide easy to understand answers of hard questions that children (and adults) may wonder about. We have a close friend of the family dying of cancer and this book has been invaluable in making the process of explaining to my children the concepts of death, burial, resurrection of the soul, and heaven much easier. The illustrations are very effective.

Extremely well-written, informative, and easy to understand
This is a delightful and informative book about the steps to accepting Jesus Christ as Savior, written from the perspective of a young boy. My son, age 5, was fascinated with this book, and it answered many questions he had been asking that I was unable to answer in a way that he could understand. I highly recommend it.

Who Is God?
Being a Christian Preschool and Elementary Teacher, I am always looking for exciting written materials to use in my classes. This book is excellent! Since finding and reading "Who Is God?", it has become a must for me when beginning a new school year. It explains the "basics" about God in a way that sparks all of the children in class to add their own comments or questions! What more could you want in a Christian classroom! This book helps children understand who God is by relating Him to people and events in most children's experiences. The brightly illustrated pages also help to hold the attention of even the youngest children. This is a great addition for any library - home, school, or church!
