Very Thought Provoking!!
If you only buy one theology book in your life this is the one to buy. The author uses a narrative approach in order to help the reader understand how our spiritual forefathers wrestled with understanding the scriptures. I would highly recommend this work to anyone that is interested in the house church movement or just looking for great theology book. A Believers Church Theology will inspire you to go deeper and appreciate our spiritual heritage.

A Comprehensive Study of the Work by George Nelson
Although the book is minimal on color illustrations and its strength relies mainly on its text, contrary of what I had expected, I was very pleased with it. It is a very comprehensive study of the work of Nelson, one of the pioneers of American industrial design, giving more importance to the concepts and the process of design, rather than to the produced objects, buildings and exhibitions themselves. The preface by Ettore Sottssass is equally outstanding, as most of his written works are.

Good, could be better
This book about Kubrick is by far the most probing of his work. Nelson goes into so much detail about each film--nicely excluding the early films and Spartacus, which don't fit into Kubrick's signature style--that its exhausting. But most of his info is psychological, and this can be very confusing to people like me who aren't educated in such metaphysics. He goes off on lots of tangents that I, being a literate and knowledgeable person, sometimes just don't understand. He makes some good points though and the book is good. I admit I'll probably look for the new edition with Full Metal Jacket and Eyes Wide Shut added on.

Indispensable book on Stanley Kubrick
This volume stands alone as a model of film criticism on the works of Stanley Kubrick. The book contains individual chapters on `Lolita' through `The Shining'. One of the things that I find so fascinating about this book is not only Nelson's ability to assess the individual films to such an analytical degree, but also to evaluate them as a progressive whole. It astounds me how much insight Nelson brings to Kubrick's films. Will there ever be an expanded version containing chapters on `Full Metal Jacket' and `Eyes Wide Shut'? One can only hope.

A wonderful view
There can be no greater praise for a book about Kubrick than to say that it is worthy of its subject. This one is. The opening chapter gives the bare biographical facts, and attempts to dispel a few of the myths about Kubrick's personality - not least the idea that, for example, a man's real or journalistically endowed flying phobia should have the least relevance for a viewer or a critic of his films. The next chapter analyses the early films up to the first masterpiece, Paths of Glory; and each subsequent film (except for the compromised Spartacus) has a chapter to itself. Nelson's critiques are detailed, comprehensive, thoroughly readable and constructive - which is to say, favourable. He appreciates the films and wishes others to appreciate them too. This revised and expanded edition contains, in the first chapter, a charming tribute to the director and, in two new chapters, analyses of Full Metal Jacket and Eyes Wide Shut which show that, in the intervening years between The Shining and the present, Nelson's abilities have diminished as little as Kubrick's. All the essays in the book can be read and enjoyed for their own sake - I was especially fond of the one on A Clockwork Orange, long before I was able to see the film itself - but they will also make you long to be back there in the dark, sharing the artist's vision with the eyes Nelson has widened for you.

Hands down, the worst text in the history of mankind.
Wheeler should have his dental license revoked, even if he knows his dental anatomy. I say this because he has no capacity to organize, no sense of what makes things understandable, and absolutely no clue whatsoever what a diagram or illustration is used for. This text is a disgrace to the dental field, because it makes all dental professionals look incompetent, and unable to convey information effectively.

Dental anatomy is a collection of facts that should be presented either in list form, or as text attached to a WELL-LABELED diagram, with SOME description of what's going on. Instead, wheeler presents the data in lengthy prose (which, despite its boring length, is frequently unthorough). The text is loaded with blank diagrams, some shaded/contoured, some simply line drawings, and some drawn on a graph background, almost none of which have any kind of in-graphic labeling. The only description of the illustration comes at the bottom of it, and is nothing more than an identification of tooth and aspect of the picture. In addition, he fills up the book with idiotic pictures of real teeth side-by-side which vary greatly and essentially confuse matters. Needless to say, he never bothers to label anything within these pictures.

It's extremely difficult to use this book to learn from. It's excessively tedious to get the information from the text, and almost impossible to make use of the illustrations. It's as if he initially wrote the text with no intent of including illustrations, then, at the request of others, threw in the illustrations at the very end. Apparently, Wheeler was too lazy to actually WRITE SOMETHING ON THE ILLUSTRATIONS!

If you are a dental student, and your professor recommends this book, save your money. This book is high-school. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

AWFUL
This is the most awfully written book I've read. Unfortunately, this happens to be "the bible" (!!?!??) in dental anatomy.

It's boring, and the illustrations aren't clear and do not correspond well to the text.

The author should be killed twice.

Very unfortunately it is the main text in our dental anatomy course.

Quit your whining. There are too many dentists anyway.
To the reviewers who vilified this tome-> Hey guys, this text is a classic. If learning is such a hateful thing to you, get out of dentistry now. You're off to a good start to become a second rate dentist as it is. Here's an idea: learn how to love dentistry, because you'll be practicing for a long time. Call me crazy. I've been called worse.

For Young Diehard Fans Only!
I purchased this book as a gift for my 11 year old nephew, who is a big Eagles fan. I looked through the book before wrapping it, and could not believe how small or how cheaply made it is. The two laminated cardboard covers are thicker than the pages, all 36 of them! I counted only 10 color photographs inside, and several black-and-whites. The story inside starts in the 1930's and continues to the present. How do you cover almost 70 years of football history in 36 pages? The answer is: Not very well.

I must admit my nephew was very happy to get the book, but considering the price vs what you get, I thought it was a rip-off.
