"Romantic Relationship between Carl & Justine Needed".
Well, It was a very extremely interesting
book. But, the only thing that disappointed
me about this book is that There Wasn't enough
Teenage Romance in the Book Between Justine &
Carl To tell you the truth when they were
having a pizza party i thought for starter's
that was pretty lame. They should've had a real party
for Maddie's going away party, with booz & cool music
not that i'm an alcoholic i'm just more in favour of
real partie's u know. Also I think Maddie Shoul've started

going out with Carl as soon as she broke up with Nathan i
think she did break up with him, but never took the chance
to ask Carl if he would go out with her at that time, Carl would've truly cared for her cause that's the kinda guy he is
a Sweet, Caring person that deserved more in life. Carl's mum dying in the novel just ruined the whole story, i think anyway, he should've been able to find her, she should've called more and wrote letter's to at least let her kids know that she loved them, missed them, to see how things were and that she was coming back as soon as she sorted things out for herself and accepted the fact that she had kids to take care of now she can't just abandon them like that it's just terrible. Well
that's just my opinion anyway, i'm in year10, i love reading books especially by 'James Moloney' he's got the gift to just be a writer and goes on with life the way he wants to. I'm only 16 but i've a pretty fair idea what i'm gonna do when i'm a fully

matured adult, so if anyone think's that 'James Moloney' or anyone doesn't have the gift to be what they wanna be then they're just jealous that they have no idea what they're gonna be when their fully grown mature adults, or maybe they're just jealous that they can't be more like the rest of us an plan ahead like we do sometimes. anyway this was a pretty good book so i recommend that anybody that loves or likes books to just borrow it from the library or better yet buy, who knows you might learn something from it about your life and the way your living it!

Essington Review
We are Year 9 students from Essington School, Darwin. We read the book, A Bridge to Wiseman's Cove for English. 99.9% of our class thought it was excellent as it showed us the struggle of a teenage boy who didn't have any family, but he still clung on to life and became independent and responsible within his local community. Our class recommends this book for any year 9 english class, so bribe your teacher.

A Bridge to Wiseman's Cove
I read this book in one of my English classes and loved it. The relationships between the characters were just so... real. I recommend this book to any book lover between the ages of 12 and 80.

Dougy
Dougy is a superb novel that gives the idea of the racist concern of Aborigines in Australia. When Dougy's sister, Gracey, is chosen for the State Athletics Championships, people in their small town was not all pleased. During the fight between the whites and blacks in the town, Dougy learns to be a leader for his family. It is up to Dougy to save his family, from the war and the mysterious Moodagudda. Dougy is the first book in James Molonely's trilogy. Must read all of them.

Good book covering the racist issues facing Aborgines today
Dougy, the first book in James Molonely's trilogy ( the other two are Gracey and Angela, both of which a terrific as well! ), is a fantastic novel which clearly states the racist issues facing Aborigines these days. It also looks deep into Dougy's personal life, especially when his sister, Gracey, is chosen for the State Athletics Championships. During that difficult time, Dougy must learn to stand up for himself, his family and the whole Aboriginal body. A terrific book with both thumbs up!

The book cross fire starts off with a young boy luke aged 13, gets caught by the deputy principal for having a .22 rifle in his locker. Luke is in big trouble at school and at home.

the book has great themes of changing perspective, adoloscents living in the country. I recommended the book to be read by young adults. A fanatstic read !

Touch me
I am a teenage girl from Australia and had to read this book for a school assignment. I'm not into reading books, so I detested the fact I had to read one! Once I started reading Touch Me by James Moloney, I completely enthralled in it. This book shows the life of Xavier, the stereotypical athletic guy and Nuala, the cross-dressing tomboy with a dark and mysterious past. Xavier eventually asks out Nuala, in this "boy meets girl and everything changes for him" book.
I would recommend this book to all teenagers and parents of teenagers. This book gives real insight into the ups and downs of teenage life in the 21st century.

The House on River Terrace
Published in Paperback by University of Queensland Press (1995)
Author: James Moloney
Amazon base price: $15.95
Average review score:

The House on River Terrace
This book is about Ben Fielding, the son of a politician, living in Brisbane in 1994.

A TV documentary is being made about Ben's family history, focussing on a house which has been in his family for decades. Ben finds some inaccuracies in the TV program and reads biographies and diaries of his ancestors to find out the truth.

At the same time Ben makes friend with a street kid, Jess, a relationship which his parents disapprove of. When Ben's father goes on television, saying how he believes homeless children are pests and how he disapproves, Ben also appears, speaking up for the street kids. Inevitably this causes conflict.

This book does make you want to keep on reading, especially some of the stories about the past, but it's not very well-written or realistic.
