Tempera Mental
My prayer of thanks goes up for this incredable explanation of why those "experts" who talk all about how the Horoscopes can be real know nothing about the real facts of the TRUTH about Jesus and God, as Miss Miller explains based on Biblical Facts! How can they talk about the "stars" like their Gods??? This is the book I have prayed for years! I cant wait for her new book, "A Sign in The Heavens, The Truth About Astrology"

Revelations!
I was ecstatic to receive the word from Ms. Miller about how the satanic-astrological conspiracy is based not on the true biblical facts. It had sickened me to read other so-called "theologians" disparage our God with their star-loving rants. Goodness knows we don't need any more unfactual stories going around, and I for one have already cleared a space on my devotional shelf for Ms. Miller's new book, "A Sign in The Heavens,The Truth About Astrology".

The Straight Dope on the Birth of Our Lord
This brilliant book by Ms. Miller is filled with enlightening new information regarding the birth of Lord Jesus Christ, and exposes how godless pagans have co-opted this beautiful story of salvation with their morally questionable "Astrology." Miller has sounded the clarion call to all true Christians who want the whole story on the stars and religion, and I will definately pick up her latest volume, "A Sign in The Heavens, The Truth About Astrology."

Good book
Library Journal's review of this guide: "Combining encyclopedic coverage of destinations with loads of practical information and atlas-type maps, the series illuminates the wonders of nature but emphasizes the peculiarity of a place's people and their folklore."

An invaluable account of a complex but deadly gunman
Glenn Shirley has done an excellent job of collating facts and evidence surrounding the life of such a controversial character as Jim Miller. This book makes a thoroughly entertaining story but should also be acclaimed for its scholarly value. The topic of this book was one of the deadliest gunman in the West's history, yet has never been mentioned in the same way as his more famous contemporaries; Wild Bill, Billy the Kid, Doc Holliday etc.. And neither should he! Maybe it was his cold-blooded methods with which he carried out many of his killings that made Jim Miller a man that people would prefer to forget. Yet as you read this account of his life it is easy to become enthralled by the conflicting traits in his personality. On one hand an outwardly religious man; on the other, a ruthless assasin. At times his actions were at best, cowardly; but at others he showed great courage. By his very nature and deeds Jim Miller could never become a celebrated character of the West, yet he is without doubt one of the most intriguing. The life of Jim Miller is surrounded with mysteries that leaves you yearning for more information about this fascinating character.

The Covenant : A Promise Written in the Stars
Published in Paperback by Lampholder Publications (01 August, 1998)
Authors: Shirley Ann Miller and Jennifer M. Sayger
Amazon base price: $19.95

incredible scholarship
Shirley Miller is the most knowledgable person I have ever read concerning the constellations. She has extensively corrolated scripture with the signs in the sky totally negating everything Astrologers, and those who have described the Gospel in the Stars, have said. She makes alot of sense but unless you are well acquainted with ancient Jewish festival practices, it's a real "text book" read. I'll have to read it again to try to put it all together.

This book should be required student or college reading!
Shirley Ann Miller has done a profound work in her book "The Covenant: A Promise Written in the Stars." I find it hard to put into words, but she has taken the history of religion and astrology and brought it to a level where anyone could understand it. The information she expertly presents should be mandatory study by any religious history or prophecy student as well as all of the scientific and religious community. It's simply an amazing work! native languages in depth- adds to appreciation
With many specific examples, primarily from California Indian languages, this helps counter misconceptions about "primitive" peoples. Their languages are complex and reflective of deep connections with the Earth. Informative also about creoles and pidgins. Very technical and exhaustive for North America, and fascinating.
