This work is an excellent resource to conservative theological thought. Dr. Miller's style is very conversational. He looks at all angles of the issues brought up in 1 Peter and then elegantly argues for his position. He is never disrespectful of those that disagree with him. Dr. Miller's easy going style allows the reader to ponder the deep theological issues presented without feeling bogged down by technical terminology. This is a book for any Christian intent on further their understanding of this often overlooked book of the New Testament. One does not need a seminary degree to understand the arguments presented in this book. The best commentary on 1 Peter of the many I have read.

Just finished reading Successful Real Estate Investing and really liked this book. I have read numerous books on Real Estate and this is one of the better books I have read. Very informative and up to date. He really debunks the tv Guru's and gives you the nitty truth about what it takes to get into the market. He is also very conservative in his approach and tries to give all angles to buying property. Give this book a four out of five stars.

The book is great. No pie in the sky stuff but real practical instructions that you would need to get started and realistically have things work. Full of ideas with the advantages and disadvantages so you know the up and downside of a strategy. Best money I ever spent.

A CD-Rom jammed with articles from EXECUTIVE EXCELLENCE. I actually got my copy as a bonus for subscribing a couple of years ago. Many of the articles are interesting, but they are all quite short, almost MTV-ish. This seems to be the preferred style for this publication. If you are a fan of Warren Bennis, or one of the writers who regularly contribute to that publication, this is a good way to pick up some new material from your favored writer. The articles are on a variety of topics, which means that there will probably be something for everyone with an interest in this subject, but by the same token, there will be a lot that won't interest you. The CD includes a search engine that is workable. I benefitted from the magazine and the CD, but they didn't set my world on fire.
