I originally bought this book for some older friends of mine. I ended up reading it all the way through before giving it to them. The stories touched all of my emotions and reminded me of my wonderful grandparents as well(my grandparents raised my sisters and I thru much of our childhood). This is a great book for anyone and everyone-don't pass it up.

Readers who haven't received a recent dose of "Chicken Soup for the Soul," shame on you. In "Chicken Soup for the Golden Soul," Mark Victor Hansen, Jack Canfield, Barbara Chesser, Amy Seeger and Paul Meyer present us with one of the best of the series.

I say it is a must-read for anyone on either side of 60. It is a timeless, energized, enthusiastic, motivational book written with golden years in mind, but filled with stories all can enjoy. Will be a great holiday gift for lots of folks on your list.

Life is such a joy, and this book made me remember that.It is a must for all of us old goldies. A great gift for one to take for every occasion....birthday, shut-ins, loved ones and etc.

I AM 53 AND HAVE SUFFERED FOR YEARS WITH A BAD BACK. I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING INCLUDING THERAPY. NOTHING WORKS AS WELL AS CALLANS BACK EXERCISES! I BOUGHT THIS BOOK USED RECENTLY. I WISH I WOULD HAVE FOUND IT YEARS AGO! IT WOULD HAVE SAVED ME YEARS OF PAIN! WHAT A SHAME ITS OUT OF PRINT.

The first few pages of this book are devoted to emergency relief of lower back spasm. If you've ever had to get out of bed by rolling out onto the floor, getting onto your knees, then slowly & painfully rising to your feet by supporting yourself by leaning on the nightstand...you know what I'm talking about. Her emergency exercises work.

The long-term stretching & toning program is a lot like some yoga exercises...but with some very important--and seemingly subtle--differences that will protect your back from some of the dangerous stresses that certain yoga positions put you into.

It's a shame this book is out of print. Haunt your local used book stores until you find it!

I found the book and 2 sets of audio tapes of Callanetics for Your Back years ago. I purchased 5 sets and only have one set left. Is that version still available? Callan Pinckney's easy lying down back exercises are the most valuable and helpful found anywhere. Help me find more copies, please! I'm searching for friends.

I was lucky enough to find a 'new' copy of this book. It is wonderfully and appropriately illustrated, though not necessarily for children. I recommend this to fans of Coleridge, and to fans of eclectic books in general.

All right, you may not be terribly fond of Coleridge. Or you may think he was a poet-god. In either case, I recommend this pop-up version of the "drugged-out classic" (as a prof. of mine once called it) to everyone over the age of, say, 17. Bantock's imaginative use of the familiar pop-up genre, as well as his distinctive art style, accentuate the poetry perfectly. I'm still kicking myself for not buying that beaten-up copy I found in New York. This is definitely worth the search.

This is a feel good book with characters you can relate to and root for. In language and content, it's also a great book for teenagers and grandmothers, really for the whole family. Don't miss it!

I loved this cute, P.G., romantic comedy! Training Tommy is a light, fun read with great messages - you can't judge a book by it's cover and be careful what you pray for. Enjoy it.

I received this book as a gag borthday gift, but it turned out to be very useful and funny. This book contains more than just the obvious balloon condoms. It's handy for those lonely Saturday nights when your date cancels, but better for those nights when your date shows up!

This book is hilarious!! I recieved this and their other book (101 Super Uses for Tampon Applicators) for my birthday and can't get enough of them! They are packed with extremely clever ideas and illustrations. Great bathroom reading!

This is the best book I have ever read!!! There are so many funny things in this book I couldn't believe it. I couldn't put this book down and immediately bought their other book '101 Super Uses For Tampon Applicators'. These women deserve a special medal for humor. This is the perfect gift.

The women who wrote this have given me hours of laughter and fun. Thanks you for finding the humor in menstration!! My friends and I recently sat down and made some of the fun items in the book. My favorite is the Zen Garden, but Doggie Ear Splints are a close second! Buy this book if you want to laugh.

Or maybe it's the perfect bathroom book! This is so funny. I bought their other book, '101 Exciting New Uses For Concoms'. It was so funny that I had to buy this one as well. This was a clear, easy to follow book on improving your child's alertness and ability in school through proper nutrition. As a practitioner, I found this full of sound advice and information. A diet plan was also included.

I used this book in my Introduction to Human Devlopment Course. The print is small and the chapters are very long (about 35 to 40 pages each). However, the information provided is interesting.
