Author Virginia Meachum has provided an entertaining and informative story of the life of this wonderful woman that readers of all ages can enjoy. Walk, nay, RUN to a bookstore and purchase this book!

This book is great. Young readers won't be able to put it down. Virginia Meachum is great-- she walks on water, sent the Pope to Cuba, and wooed Brad Pitt away from Gweneth Paltrow. And I'm not just saying that because she's my grandma.

Great book---it really describes Steven's life well, including lots of little details, which makes it fun to read! Not like a textbook at all...at times I found myself just sitting and reading the book instead of using it as planned to help me write a report on Steven Spielberg. Again, a great book this is, defintely get it! Go Steven Spielberg!

In the past few years millions have marveled at the genius of Steven Spielberg. At least this many people should run out to their nearest book emporium and purchase Virginia Meachum's biography of the man behind the man behind the man. From his humble upbringing to his Hollywood triumphs, Spielberg's life is wonderfully and insightfully reveiewed by Meachum. A must-read.

What a read. The younger set will no doubt flock to the library shelves for this human account of a truly impressive woman. Did you know that Virginia Meachum won an ALA award for this book? Get thee to a bookseller and read Janet Reno!

I can say nothing but great things about this book ,and all of Rosie's books for that matter. I like her work so much, I can relate to her because she and I are alike. A tell it like it is kind of person. No matter what publicity has/and or does say about Rosie I think she is a great woman, and I adore her work. I enjoy reading her books, and so forth. Personally I am not a reading person, but when I picked this book up I couldn't put it down, I wanted to know what was going to happen! Just like when I read "Find Me" I bought it and read it all in the same day. Now that is a first for me, I have never finished a book the same day, actually I can't remember the last time I finished a book. Anyhow, If you like Rosie go out and buy this book, or anyone of her books, and trust me you'll be glad you did. ...

Marthat Stewart in herself is an interesting woman. She must have strong leadership to get where she is at. And honestly I was hoping to read more about her leadership capabilities, how she organizes her days in some depth and some of the obstacles she had to arise from. I did learn about her upbringing, all her successful steps and how she buys this and decorates and entertains that. It was good reading, but I was hungry for more and did not feel the price tag was worth it.

Anyone would be insane to rate this book below five stars. One of the best reads of the year. Meachum has brilliantly tapped into the enigma that is the life of Martha Stewart. If you have kids, buy this book for them. Heck, buy one for yourself as well. You shan't regret it.

Oh boy, I can't wait to read this book! And that's not just because I helped do the research for it (well, I Xeroxed an article and mailed it to the talented and lovely author, that is.) It's extremely well-written and Virgina Meachum has utterly mastered the difference between passive and active voice (I helped with that, too.) But seriously, it's an insightful and awesome book.
