THIS CD REALLY BROUGHT BACK A LOT OF MEMORIES. MY BEST FRIEND AND I USED TO GO AND SEE THIS BAND IN HOLLYWOOD AND PARTY WITH ALL OF THEM AFTER THE SHOW. WE WORE OUT OUR CASSETTES DRIVING TO HOLLYWOOD EVERY WEEKEND. THE GIRLS REALLY KNOW HOW TO PARTY AND ROCK !

Many fond memories of the girls in Precious Metal. I promoted them several times in central California and loved 'em so much I caught myself constantly going to see them in L.A. It's a shame they never "made it". P.M. rocked!!! Get this album and have FUN!!!!

This stuff is cool, slick production& hook laden material. Covers all their previously released recordingswith selected cuts from each. Thesegirls are good-looking rockers that can play! Not formula rock like "Vixen", but straight ahead R&R in the pop vein. I've seen them perform live and were definitely worth catch-ing onstage! If you like this genre of music, this CD is a must have, as no collection would be complete without it. 5 STAR BOOK Ever wonder what it would be like to live in China? Well now you can with the enchantment book for China. It tells you every thing from the capital to the language. China is a great country. I0t has the Great wall of China. This book also has color photos and everyone loves that. THIS BOOK IS AWESOME YOU SHOULD READ IT!!!!!

I was in search of anything revealing the secrets of Christmas customs and traditions in Spain. My search took me to the Virgina Beach Library where, lo and behold!, I found Christmas in Spain by Valjean McLenighan, published by Passport Books. This was the only comprehnesive resource I was able to find. I am delighted to say it was quite suitable for a college level Spanish class project. McLenighan organized the book in chapters catering to general information and specific celebrations throughout the season. It addressed rural and urban culture. It included information about food, decorations, music, art, the Nativity, Noche Buena, Christmas Day, New Year celebrations, and Three King's day. I was particularly pleased with the amount of time and effort invested by the author in regional customs and their history. I was able to make ornaments and a nacimiento from the directions provided. McLenighan made reading and learning easier by including terms and meanings. I recommend this book for teachers and students to utilize as a comprehensive resource for Christmas traditions in Spain.
