About learning the real challenges of dance
Christine McDonnell's Ballet Bug tells of Bea, who thinks ballet is boring until a slumber party movie awakens her passion for dance. She enters a ballet class and learns the real challenges of dance as she struggles to catch up with her peers and faces a pair of vengeful twin competitors.

Ballet Bug
My 9 year old daughter never reads. I bought this book last week after "judging a book by its cover," the illustrations were fabulous. She has not put it down since! Great book for young readers.

College Girl
My aunt gave me this book for Christmas when I was 12 years old. I've read it ever year since, and I'm starting my freshman year of college. It's like a day dream I night have had at that point in my life. I recommend it to any girl at any age.

"Alien Attraction"
"When you have been friends as long as we had,you know what to expect." This is my favorite line in my new favorite book! I am 13 years old and I really don't like reading, but Christine Mcdonnell made this book so intresting and with so much detail.Even I read it in two days. When it was over I felt like I wanted to read the 2 friends first but Christine hasn't made a second book. The book talked about two teenage kids who are trying to make it through eighth grade.Miranda(one of the main characters)never knew growing up would be so hard. Gus (also a main character)helped Miranda write a story called Alien Attraction. Writting this story helped them have fun but spend time with each other, it also gave Miranda some time to recover from her dramatic attack. I would really recomend this book to teenage girls or boys.I defenatly would rate this book a ten but that was not an option. I think this book should win some kind of award. well, go get friends first today and you could even amaze your parents by reading it in a day or two at least I did.
