Seems to this reader that Hank Malone, Todd Moore,and Steve Kowit are three of the best- kept secrets about American poetry at the end of the 20th century. This SURVIVAL book is a great read. Moreso, it is memorable, in a way that doesn't happen much...you actually recall lines from this book, and remember them, and are tempted to plaigerize them every now and then, And Malone talks about things, large things, in ways that seem to go from the specific to the sublime. Wow.
