It was an excellent Book!!
My family is from Mackinac so my mom got this book for me. It did not take me long to read because I could not put it down. This was the first out of the three that I read and I'm in the middle of the first novel. They are both very good! I liked how you put some history of Mackinac in there but I don't like too much history so it was perfect! KEEP WRITING!!!!!!!!!

Great Adventure!
For those in the Great Lake States who spend time on the water, this is great fun. Don't let your parents start passing it around you may never get a chance to share it with your friends. Great reading for young and not so young!

Exciting mystery of teenagers, history of Mackinac Island
Summer island friends from Cincinnati and Michigan sail to Mackinac Island and look for a lost treasure ahead of a deranged treasure hunter. Historically accurate. Spoon fed history in a fascinating format. Kids and their teachers love this book from an educational standpoint.

Miniature quilts made easy.
How can this author put so much into a book. She begins with easier piecing and takes the mystery out of putting tiny pieces together. She goes beyond this by showing the best value of color to make the quilt dance and sparkle. This is an amazing book, one that every quilter should have in their library. She solves problems, causes you to want to make tiny quilts in many many colors for every room in the house.

Miniature quilts made easier.
SMALL SCALE QUILTMAKING takes the mystery and fear out of tiny piecing. The selection of fabric is so very important, showing that the strong contrasting fabrics have more character. Many projects to entice any quilter with information to make this tiny project a reality.

Highly recommended for students of politics & economics.
Who Owns America? is a collection of informative, challenging, iconoclastic and articulate essays on the nature of industrialism, corporate capitalism, the bureaucratic state, private property, the "good" society, and neo-Jeffersonian visions of a decentralized America. From David Cushman Coyle's "The Fallacy of Mass Production", to Frank Lawrence Owsley's "The Foundations of Democracy", to James Muir Waller's "America and Foreign Trade", to Robert Penn Warren's Literature as a Symptom", to Hilaire Belloc's "The Modern Man", these and many more observant and insightful commentaries deserve as wide a readership as possible and are highly recommended to students of American politics, economics, and history.

Fun summer reading for lovers of Northern Michigan
I enjoyed this book alot, even though I am far beyond the target age for this book. It brought back fond memories of summers spent at our cottage in Northern Michigan. My summers weren't near as eventful as it was for the kids in Robert Lytles Mackinac Passage novels. I reccomend the entire series (so far numbering 3) to folks of all ages who just want to be taken to a simpler time and place. It was great.
