THE BAKER BIBLE HANBOOK FOR KIDS
ALL CHILDREN WOULD ENJOY READING THE BIBLE IF THEY KNEW OR HAD A CLUE OF SOMETHING TO LOOK FOR. WELL THIS BOOK DOES THAT. IT ALSO TELLS THEM WHY THAT CERTAIN BOOK WAS WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE, TELLS THEM WHAT TO PAY ATTENTION TO WHILE READING THROUGH THE BIBLE, OLD & NEW TESTAMENT. I THINK THEOLD TESTAMENT GETS A LITTLE BORING FOR OUR YOUNG ONE, THIS BOOK WILL HELP THEM, BECAUSE OF WHAT I SAID ABOVE. I
COULDN'T PUT ITDOWN MYSELF WHEN IT CAME, & I AM FAR FROM THE AGE OF A CHILD. I DO HOWEVER: WISH I HAD THIS WHEN I TAUGHT SUNDAY SCHOOL YEARS AGO. ... IT IS A VERY GOOD HELP BOOK!

THE BAKER BIBLE HANDBOOK FOR KIDS

IT GOES THROUGH EACH BOOK, TELLS WHAT TO WATCH FOR, WHAT THE PURPOSE OF EACH BOOK OF THE BIBLE WAS WRITTEN' FOR, POINTS OUT THE IMPORTANCE OF EACH PERSON. IT IS JUST THE BEST BOOK YOU COULD GET FOR OUR YOUNG ONES.I WISH I HAD THIS WHEN I TAUGHT SUNDAY SCHOOL. IT IS VERY WELL PUT TOGETHER& WILL MAKE READING THE BIBLE MORE INTERESTING, I THINK IT WILL KEEP A CHILD INTERESTED TO READ MORE & MORE, BECAUSE IT ENCOURAGES THEM TO LOOK FOR CERTAIN THINGS. EXCELLENT STUDY BIBLE
The Tresur Study Bible provides the claity of the NIV translation along with exploring relevant topics such as "will God Answer my Prayers?" and "How to be a god friend? " Thus, the study bible provides a wealth of treasure of God's word as well as relevant topics confronting the Christian in today's complex world. The NIV Study Bible provides an interpetative frame work to study God's word by passage. On the other hand, the Treasry Study Bible explores relevant topics confronting the christian today. The Treasury Study Bible is worthy to be a part of anyone's library, and is useful for both children as well as adults.

Easily One Of The Best Books I Have Ever Read
I LOVE this book. I have always been a reader, but it usually takes me a long time. This book was easily finished in 2 days, just about a record. The detail just engulfs the reader. You can see everything. It's about 20 times better than the movie. Even if you are not a Star Wars fan, this book can easily make you one. The only downfall is that the famous "Help Me, Obi-Wan Kenobi" speech by Princess Leia has been altered. Even though, this book is an absolute must for any age. (I know, being only 16.) What else can I say? AMAZING!!!!

Perfect sci-fi book
This is a really intresting & thrilling book! I definatly recomended this to those who well of course like Star Wars, but also to those who like a good sci-fi book! It starts out intresting & through the whole book it get's more & more intresting. This is one of those books, where u just want to read on & on.So read it!!

Wonderfully written, but basically a re-hash of the film
We're all familiar with the story, why read the book? That's what a lot of people ask, and I must say there's really not that many reasons to. Everything presented here is in the film, except for a few exceptions. We meet Luke a little earlier into the story, and he has a talk with his friend, Biggs Darklighter. Other than that, there's not a whole lot here that you can't see in the films.

However, as a book, it is most excellently written. The writing style is easy to get into and understand, and characters are written believably. A must-have for the Star Wars book collecter, a good choice of a library loan for anyone else.

Good Artwork, But Lacks Descriptions and Organization
I really give this book 3 and a half stars only for the artwork.

Primarily, this book is rather disappointing. The pictures, and artwork are great, and I must say it is quite amazing to see the matte paintings that were used in the film. The book contains numerous paintings, sketches, and pictures, but they are very poorly organized. I often found that if I saw a picture I liked and wanted to look at it again, I would have to literally flip through almost every page to find it again. The pictures aren't organized into "sections" as were the ones in THE ART OF THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. But that is because the script for the movie is included in this book.

The script takes up a lot of space, but is often spaced apart by maybe 2-3 pages of artwork. So for example, once you're done reading the portion of script on page 9, you'd have to skip up to page 12 to continue reading it. It ruins the continuity of the script, but that is not that much of a deal. The script is nice to have, but then again, why would you really want the script? And besides that, why would you find a script in an art book to begin with?

Returning to the pictures, the main disappointment is the lack of descriptions for the artwork. They have little sentences like: ABOVE RIGHT, painting done by Ralph McQuarrie, and so on, but I had expected more descriptions, and rightfully so because this is an art book...isn't it?

If you are interested in the art AND the script, then you should get it. But keep in mind that there aren't many descriptions for the pictures. In my opinion, this book is a clash of script and fabulous art, and the script doesn't allow for the splendour of the artwork to come out in its full "capacity". But I don't regret getting this book simply because of the artwork, and really, this is the only book out there that has THE ART OF RETURN OF THE JEDI.

Good, but lack of descriptions disappointing
This is a great book, but it doesn't have the descriptions for the artwork that the Episode 1 edition had. Putting the script in no doubt took up the space required to have the descriptions in. Still, the art is amazing and I am overwhelmed every time I look at one of these books. If you are a die-hard Star Wars fan, or are even curious about these movies, the "Art of.." series is great and a must-have.

WOW
This was an awesome book if you have any arguments shove it up your @$
